Saw someone on twitter single out Simons passing as an attribute we should keep in mind for our new signing.

But then again, his passing quality is pretty rare.

Seko Fofana has been great for Lens. He has been linked to us recently.

Also, Faivre plastered this Lens side 4-0 couple of weeks ago.

In whole and overall a man like Kjaer is rare to find anywhere in the world, not just in football

I'm devastated, and I dont't want to think about him

right, not easy to find. ... hey we got Maignan back.

Him and Fik are so complementary. even in passing.
while Simon was giving those direct passes to the striker or a wingers running the channels...Fik has the low passes between the lines to the AM or tucked in wingers...effectively breaking the press ... all of the sudden the pressing opponents have 3-5 players in our half with the ball behind them

Kjaer is great but with the way we play Roma, Gabbia and even Kjaer somewhat depend on the recovery speed of Tomori and the CDMs.
A CB/CDM hybrid player would probably do well for us.

Another goal today for fanboy Faivre. 7g, 5a for him this season - already better than last season. Currently winning 2-1 away to L’OM for potential 6th win in a row
Any info on how many of those goals were PKs?

Last year:
Great first half of the season with few injuries. Crumbled after Christmas after extensive injuries but saved it in the last game.

This year:
Absolutely mauled by injuries in the first half of the season, we're still doing great. I can't imagine the injuries being as bad after Christmas.

I think we are strong enough for a full season push. Italy will fear us when we start becoming whole again.

we are definitely mentally stronger

CL will pay dividends in the future

its basically which team is peaking at the right times

the first few matches in the league, we dominated

the Lazio match at home… we basically suffocated them and the rest of the league pointed out we were the clear favorites

inter are peaking right now and that will change over the season
