We're certainly looking better than Chelsea so far by any sort of scientific metric. I disagree around La Liga.

"We just barely won" garbage. You can think in abstract, then realise that we only 'just barely won' because of clear officiating errors. I know it's not strong as the season is 38 matches long but we had at least 3 points taken. That is inarguable. Then we get 89 and Inter still on 84. Is that 'squeaking'? When is it not squeaking?
La Liga is a top top league. It’s the closest league to EPL in quality for sure. Let’s not even deceive ourselves. The winner of La Liga is a favorite to win Champions League while the winner of Serie A isn’t even expected to make the Semi Finals or even quarter finals without the luck of the draw.

La Liga has won like 6 out of their 7 games in Europe per week this season. Serie A wins maximum 3 and gets humiliated with Lazio and Fiorentina getting trashed. And this is with Serie A teams playing weaker opponents.

And La Liga teams in the 2 lower tier continental tournaments are some of the favorites to win it all (in Europa league for now Arsenal is the other team)

Villarreal would likely outlast Fiorentina in conference league and same with Betis and Sociedad in Europa League over Lazio and Roma (and both have big name managers. Maybe Jose performs magic again with Roma?)

Same story in champions league too (our team would probably last the longest in the tournament)

Serie A is better than EPL fan boys acknowledge but it’s the only one of the top 5 leagues that doesn’t have a single team favored to win the Champions League or even reach a semi final.

Oh wow....Giroud scored a header!!!

That should be the norm but when you have Davide "can't-cross-for-shit" Calabria as your RB, you will never see him score goals like this for us. :fp:

But he had Theo "can-cross-the-shit" Hernandez & OG missed twice vs Napoli.

I think Galliani had a great interview about past times.

Rui Costa is a great and honorable man,
he knew that his time is about to end and took it gracefully.

anybody has the full transcript?

This might have all/most of it

Wtf how is this Calabrias fault now?

BTW, he is a good crosser, not great, but he is good.

The ones who can't cross are Saelemakers first and foremost and Messias who hardly ever crosses because he things he can take on players on the wing with his turtle speed.

Saelemakers, literally cannot cross the ball, it's pathetic

I’ll cut Giroud some slack. He doesn’t get everything right but at least he’s AVAILABLE and scoring. Something that can’t be said about our other CFs.

Eeeek - Yankees Network (YES) showing match replays but with commercials

I switched it on because the guide said Milan magazine in a three hour block and it was on commercials so I assumed it was some content but it resumed the Napoli match at the 25min mark
- ah well, 1st step.

i wonder if Rui Costa was still on his prime like he was at Fiorentina, would Kaka still be able to establish himself as starter as quicky as he did?

Lol no.

Man dominated the game from the 90s til the mid noughties.

His Milan was the greatest club side of all time.

The only Milan manager to win the League and UCL in the same season.

Dude lost MVB, Gullit, Rijkaard amd lentini. But still did the double.

Put some respect on his name

Capello won a league title with Roma ffs.
100%. Carlo is a great manager, but don’t know how any Milan fan can rate him as the greatest since he won 1 Serie A title and 2 CL in 8 years with one of the best teams ever. 1 f…… Serie A title with the likes of Maldini, Nesta, Gennaro, Pirlo, Sheva etc.. that is crazy bad
