Hope RB solves this primavera mockery. We need primavera that produces serie a players like it always used to!
Our Primavera is the much better team by the way. Our boys missed like 3 amazing chances (RB missed a few too), but you can't really tell which team played in the final of the Youth CL last season and which one finished in the 2nd half of the Italian Primavera league.

if anyone wants to watch

Watched the last few minutes of the half

Have to say that is the most coherent I have seen primavera play so Abate is definitely doing something right.
Chaka on the left but he really wasn't involved.
The 10 made a nice run and cut back pass.

Jerusalema playing at the half 🙌🏽

I thought Chelsea U19 would be the team to beat since they spent tens of millions on a few very promising kids. But just saw they were beaten 2-4 by Dinamo Zagreb U19..

Milan Primavera played an okay first half, that No 14 Pluvio really can waste chance after chance.

Calhanoglu spoke at the press conference on the eve of Inter’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich and he was asked for his reaction to the loss against the Rossoneri.

“The derby is over, I don’t want to talk about it anymore because it bothers me. It’s painful, I know, but it’s over,” he said (via MilanNews).

Daniil Medvedev is the GOAT
Know that most people here would prefer Inter and Juve to get steamrolled in their groups but if we need to maximize our broadcast revenue, we can't go beyond a point when the world thinks Serie A is a farmer's league. Even the league becomes unattractive for top players because whatever they win, they will not be credited fully for it.
I really hope we go really deep in the tournament and the same time, wish all the Italians put in strong performances.
Given how shaky Chelsea have been so far, I think we have a chance for top spot but we will get a clear picture today on how the team is on a European stage.
Napoli should be able to qualify for R16.
Not so sure about Inter and Juve.
I have more hope in Inter than Juve though.. their football seems to be pathetic so far this season.

I’m kinda on the same BOAT tbh but I won’t lose sleep either way. I’ll look into the positive regardless of result. If they win, good for Serie A, if they lose, time to troll my Juventino/Interesita friends

Win/Win you get what I’m saying. 😈

That's good to hear, can't watch right now as I'm at work.
I think we need to give Abate some time, he did very well with our other youth team (I think it was U16). The primavera was a total mess lately, so it will take some time to turn it around. Would be great if they could get further in the CL.

That's possible given the Botman links. It doesn't make sense to target a 30 mil defender where the club is already good unless the budget would be at least 80-100 mil.
Yes, I was alluding to BRK's idea that Elliott would provide a higher budget because of the squad reduction costs. It made perfect sense, except they obviously changed their mind because they were selling the club.

Hopefully Redbird will give leeway to MM for higher wages (Leao, Bennacer, etc.) otherwise we'll never get to be a WC team again. We reduced our squad costs this season and they could even decrease more if Bakayoko leaves🤞.

I actually like it when other fans call us by the our whole name AC Milan. It just sounds better than if we were named FC Milan, but it's quite annoying when they just call us by "AC". It's like calling Barcelona by "FC". Then "Milan" is the correct name to call.
I have a school mate.

Back then
He referred Milan by "AC"
Ane referred Inter by "Milan"

I know, it's beyond stupid
No, he's not drunk atm
Yes, i dont befriended him anymore ever since

May god have mercy on his soul for the disgusting sin that he committed

Primavera play sensible - I am pleased even though Salzburg scored.

Chaka - hit and miss but he did have a really good run and low cross.
He slows down the game to use his dribble which is fine but he isnt quick and fast enough to kill defenders, they usually can get back in the play to tackle or at least bother him.
Not sure if that changes as senior players may not be all quick even though they are bigger and faster over greater distance. Physically he doesnt stand out.
I wish he would play faster and force the opponent's momentum to be against them than mostly stopping and then trying to beat them flatfooted. He picks up positions well though

Cuenca has a good size and decent speed but I didnt see enough to have any idea about his game; he was cramping up and came off early and seemed upset about that which is good.

Coubis looks like he is going to be an intimidating one as he plays to his size and his mentality is that befitting of his stature.

Really night and day how they played today from the last time I saw them with Hauge Daniel etc - the quick passing, sensible long passing and organized defensive posture.
Refreshing

so elliott didn't want to invest more because they were selling the club and gerry didn't complete the takeover until the last mercato week so he wouldn't have to invest anything this summer hmmm

The reason is simple. We as fans want to win. They won, even though they forced us to be cheap. To be angry at them means you’re just angry we won the wrong way. That seems extremely arrogant and selfish to me. You can win in different ways and they proved it. We didn’t win in spite of Ellliott. We won twice, sporting and financially. One is a short term win, the other is a long term one, that helps set us up for the future.
Totally disagree. To be disappointed in the mercato just means we the fans truly believe Elliot could have done more for Pioli, Maldini and the team. They could have and should have rewarded a winning team. It doesn't mean "we're angry we won the wrong way". WTF is that, lol? We can agree to disagree but you need to stop putting words in people's mouths.

This is a boring debate and this is all I'll say about this. Let people speak their minds. Stop telling people how they should think and what they should say.

Yunus Musah is a fucking stud. Hard worker and can turn up the pitch in no time. I’ve only really seen him centrally but plays RW for Valencia too

I think he is much better centrally than on the wing, but 100% dude is an absolute stud. Incredible ball control, very press resistant, and tons of upside. Has an electric personality that I think would fit well with the squad too. Would be a phenomenal signing, I think he has legit WC potential.
