Ancelotti's milan should have won CL in 2004 & 2005. Lost to La Coruna 0-4 after winning first leg 4-1 and lost to liverpool after winning 3-0 at half time were unacceptable.

Maignan leaving French NT camp. No idea if this is a good thing. Leaving it means that he won't be able to play in their next game which is in 2 days. So, he will be out for at least 2-3 days. Probably a week if there's no serious issue. We may be without Maignan, Tonali and Theo against Empoli and possibly Chelsea FBT, Tatarusanu and Pobega starting at Stamford Bridge

Leao is our best player, but Maignan is the one who is the hardest to replace, as we have the biggest quality gap between our starter and bench. Tata is out of CL list, so in worst case scenario we will go to Chelsea-Juve-Chelsea with Mirante in goal. I wish we would have released Tata in summer (I am pretty sure Napoli was heavily linked with him), and go for either Sirigu or Cragno as our backup keeper. It would have been a significant upgrade in quality, and better for CL quota. I will forever remember his crucial penalty save in the derby, but outside of this one moment, I was never calm when he was in goal. To me he was a downgrade from Amelia, Abbiati, Diego Lopez, Reina, and even Begovic.


This was all his games last season. He conceded too easily against midtable sides. The results and the penalty save kind of hides his weak performances, but all things considered, lets pray that MM is okay.
