No thanks to Faivre, that would be an ongoing transfer/contract saga once he does well here. He‘d surely discover that he is a life long Real Madrid fan or so after 6 months.

Barak with hattrick, wonder if maldini still want him, looks slow but technically very good, remind me of hamsik.

- Faivre: We were ready to put 15M on the table for a Baguette League B talent as confirmed by Faivre himself. That's not being cheap. However you're making it look like we eventually bailed out because of a couple of millions while it's very well documented and confirmed by Lilles SD that they pulled out of the negotiations in order to punish him for trying to force a move. You still using your narrative is unfair and false information for those who didn't follow that saga as closely as we did last summer. Meanwhile Faivre played so well that even PSG seemingly shows up and drives his price higher. That's nothing you can blame our management for.
One quibble - If you are citing the Lille SD then give full context. He said the Milan offer was not close to what was being reported.
Then the player threw his little hissyfit and refused to travel for a match, then the SD shut it down

We probably never returned after that or at least not seriously and now the player and his entourage are looking for the next big move possible.
I do agree with you we can find another so its not the end of the world, sadly it may be summer and not this window.

FIFA boss Infantino now lives in Qatar! SonntagsBlick research shows: Gianni Infantino has moved to the host country of the 2022 World Cup. The FIFA boss has rented a house in Doha and sent two of his daughters to school in the emirate.

[...]

Qatar is a country where Sharia law applies. Where homosexuals end up in jail and human rights are trampled on. But Infantino says the World Cup will be a “festival of social integration”.

Up to 6,500 lives for "eight fantastic stadiums"

In a media release, Fifa recently wrote of "eight fantastic stadiums across Qatar" that have already been completed. What the world football association did not say: the stadiums were built by migrant workers under precarious conditions. According to the British newspaper "Guardian", up to 6,500 guest workers died in connection with the World Cup. Fifa disputes the numbers and says 34 people died "directly in connection with the construction of the stadium". Infantino says: "The experience for the fans will be great."

Blood and games.

[...]

---

I'm sure they gave him quite a nice villa. He really does not know shame. What a godless hypocrite.

It was still a very good and necessary retort by Alo of all the incessant whining about us being so cheap.

If you offer a take which on closer inspection seems to be wrong, it's not because everyone is a "management can do no wrong"-activist. It's just a shit take that deserves to be called out.

What's your take on no.16 in both side? (Frattesi and Casale)

If our management isnt tight on budget then they are idiots for relying on shit players like Diaz & Sale.
I think our management is smart but tight on budget + a bit unexperienced.

Okay bro. Fucking idiots creating a team from nothing which is currently on it's second very good season. Basically a lock for top 4, which btw is essential to keep growing.

Every window it's kicking and screaming, still we march forward, doing well in the league, however depleted.

A new CB feels more important now than the AM/RW issue in my opinion.

It's pretty obvious we don't have money
Or rather have, but not enough to cover all the holes in the squad
We spent on Tomori and Tonali and now have to settle for cheap RW and no CAM

It's pretty simple. If we see an opportunity which could strengthen the team AND is a sound investment, we will pounce.

If not, we won't.

Pretty sure we will be able to spend on CB in summer and maybe even FW, but there will be no money to replace Kessie and get better RW again

Which is why I said quibble and didnt quote the rest of the post :o

I dont want to go down this road again. I see both sides of the 'argument' and for me both sides have merit. We did miss some moves and that seemingly are because of us not wanting to spend just above; in some cases it was to our benefit and in others it wasnt imho. For some its fine because we are slowly building and for others it seems we arent moving quickly enough or there is a fear of a cycle of losing and replacing where we never reach where we want to go. The key renewals and purchases this summer will inform us.
