I do see life this way. Life IS a competition.
If you think you are good or great it's meaninglessness unless it's with reference to someone else
This has nothing to do with being strong or tough. On the contrary. It is exactly how people develop inferiority complexes. I know this because my fiancée is a psychologist and has many people in therapy with the same or similar attitude to life.
Believe me, and I don't mean this in a bad or evasive way, and it has nothing to do with the ongoing Milan discussion, but if you hold on to this attitude, you will never be truly happy in life.
