Opposite to Origi & Berardi playing the same position which was your original statement ?
The point was that you are celebrating the signing of a super sub, while hating on a starter who this season alone scored half the goals the super sub has in his entire career. And he is not even a striker something the super sub is

What does it mean?
it basically means that the fixed price RedBird will have to pay is 1.3bil and there will be an "earn out" clause which will vary depending on the objectives achieved in a given period by the company. The clause could reach up to 500 million and is most likely tied with the new stadium etc.
Apparently (or well according to Pietro Mazzara) Eliott wanted more money than initially offered by Investcorp due to the valuation and sale of Chelsea..they deemed the 1.1bil offer to be too low

The thing is, while Elliot has not spent a lot of money recently, over the entirety of their ownership there has been a solid amount of money spent on transfers. We spent the most of any Italian club at around what, 80 mil or so last summer? You have to remember the very first days when they brought in paqueta and piatek, and even earlier with the whole higuain Bonucci thing that was costly. Things have not always been the messias way.

It seems like that because we do the try before you buy thing a lot with loans, but they had to pay eventually. Maldini got the team a lot younger and therefore cheaper salary wise, but a lot of the key players were in that 20-30 mil range. Again, not a lot of money, but you can certainly find great talents in that range if you know what you’re doing and where to look.

I think it’s also worth noting they have had to spread the budget because the whole team needed to be revamped. None of the players from the Chinese ownership transfer period made it to a second contract. Maldini and Massara had to build a CL(potentially title winning) team from scratch while getting rid of a ton of deadweight. You can’t buy a 40 mil center back when you also need a left back, goalkeeper, backups, etc. Think about that across the whole field. Tonali, leao, tomori, theo, bennacer, they cost some money but we had more holes to fill.

The point of that is, now that the squad is a lot better top to bottom, they can stop focusing on trying to build an entire roster and start fixing holes. It’s no surprise that even before club sale news broke, we start being linked with better players like botman, renato, etc. 80 mil looks a lot better spent on 2-3 players instead of 5-6. If Redbird can maybe add a little to that by pushing our range from 20-30 up to 30-40 mil and also increasing a few key players salaries, we can still build a very good team.

. so-called "earn-out": which will vary according to objectives achieved in a certain period of time by the company. Translated into practical terms, the fixed figure on which Elliott and RedBird should agree is € 1.3 billion, while the earn-out should reach up to € 500 million, for a potential operation of about € 1.8 billion.

Relax guys. No one can predict the future. You think Daniel Longo knows shit? None of them do and neither do we.

No matter who the owner ends up being, we will get through it. Milan is an enduring brand and will outlive all owners. Nothing we can do sitting at home besides hoping for the best.

If we're not spending even less than with Elliott, I'm fine with it. Wasn't expecting new owners anyway at the start of this season, so if it ain't worse than Elliott, no complaints :D We got nice chemistry going, and some stupid oil infused mercato would certianly break all the developing players.

🚨 RedBird Capital Partners has reached a preliminary agreement to buy Milan. Redbird is set to buy the club and a deal could be announced as soon as next week. The transaction may value Milan at roughly €1.3 billion. Elliott is set to keep a minority stake in Milan

I agree that Milan is enduring brand but this banter era is lasting too long,i had hopes we would be sold to owner who had some money, not to buy 150 mil joao felix but to buy cf when one is needed or rw when needed and to give wages 6 mil or 5 mil when erned .

I would actually probably die of laughter if RedBird defaulted on the loan and Elliott inherited the club for a second time

Red Bird dropping the onerous loan with buy obligation on Elliott.

Red Bird shit dropping just before the biggest game of the last decade. They could have waited until Monday, but there seems to always be this media agenda against Milan. I wonder who wants to take focus away from prioritizing the Scudetto...

Why even ban him? Just enjoy the ride, it's all part of the fan's emotions spectrum
