According to Calcio e Finanza, we earned 45m from the CL this season which could've increased to 60m had we reached the round of 16.

Therefore, RB might be inclined to give MMM a bigger budget (100m+) to fund better signings which would INCREASE our chances of reaching the round of 16 next year AND qualifying for the CL again. Also, this doesn't look like the face of a man who's just been told he can only spend 50m...

Yep...so that's at least 60m guaranteed next season (Nkunku) and a high possibility we do the same in 23/24 (Nunez). In other words, RB MIGHT be inclined to allow Maldini to spend big in ADVANCE because there's a high likelihood that we're going to recoup the money within a season or two.

Hence the statement...
