From the Estevao interview (I know I cite it a lot, but it was really illuminating) I’d imagine they’d be very weary to go for a back 3 CB like him. Torino isn’t dominant, but they’re not a low block team either, they play extremely high and press even more than we do. He said that they have a lot of reservations about back 3 defenders (especially outside defenders) in dominant teams, they tend to not translate well to a dominant back 4 team. Different skill set.

So what are you going to say at my funeral now that you have killed me? @Maldini :head:

He will say something like this: "MU Amber was a funny kind of guy, but he pretented to be a Milan fan while in reality he only loved Johnny Depp and United. He also smoked too much weed in his life."

this mother fucker has potential to carry the mantle to through the next cycle

the future is bright

So, you're saying @ProfK87 is a special talent? Could he replace Qaas who's grasping for air after hearing that Il Lesbo is plan C.

Deals for Ziyech and CDK will be top signings if they happen, attack
Ziyech--------CDK--------Leao
--------------Origi
is just very very good,we have speed passing shooting.
CDK is far from quick and predominantly a CF/SS so nobody knows how he'll perform in the AM spot. In fact, Ziyech is much more of a guarantee given that AM is his most played position (220 games vs. 101 @ RW). Also, Origi is a monster on his day but has only played 500 mins of football (aka 6 full matches) in each of the past 2 seasons so is another uncertainty.

In an ideal world, Milan would take CDK, Ziyech AND Dybala given that they cost just 35m combined and can all alternate between the AM/RW positions. In fact, CDK + Dybala can also play up front too. Under that scenario, we would send Brahim, Messias + Salad packing as they're simply not Milan quality and can be used to generate a 15m+ capital gain to help offset the transfer cost. However, unfortunately it looks like 'The Incredible Hulk' Brahim is staying for another season (as will one of Salad/Messias) so we'll be lucky to sign two of them at best.

Really interesting how Pioli will use Adli.
Zidane had Davids and Makelele. Though at least that Real had to have Makelele, without him they failed.

If Adli is in our midfield together with Tonali and CdK...at first glance it seems lacking DM kind of player. Though if it hits off we might not need one, as we will be playing beautiful & deadly attacking football.

Repubblica opens its sports pages this morning: "Milan-Pioli honeymoon: the gift is De Ketelaere". Great party yesterday at Milanello for the Rossoneri meeting, acclaimed by many fans. Among the most acclaimed Stefano Pioli, who asked for quality reinforcements at the press conference. And the club is ready to satisfy him: Elliott seems willing to invest 35 million euros for the 21-year-old Belgian attacking midfielder De Ketelaere of Bruges.

I really am trying not to get my hopes up for CDK and Ziyech

With those guys and assuming health Milan can reach the semi-finals of CL...

We are on the verge of securing our midfield for half a decade.

Unmovable leader in Tonali.
If he works hard, excellent backup in Pobega.
Wildcard talent in Adli.
Solid worker in Bennacer.
CdK would complete this as creative AM who works hard.
Sanches as somebody to progress the ball when things get hard.

If Bennacer does not prolong - we sell him. No Sanches? We still have Krunic who can fill in any gap & we don't release Bakayoko.

However, if Sanches and CdK deals could both go through, we do not have to spend in that sector for next few years. In the meantime the players would get better, both on their own and as a synergy from playing together so long.

We would still have Daniel Maldini too.

By the looks of it we wont spend more than 30,40 this mercato. Even that s reaching. After wining scudetto. Absolutely nuts.
Thats fkin sad for Milan and whole seria a.

When u look at it, whole italian football s in toilet.

Origi free.
Zyech probably paid loan if some other club doesnt steal him.
We re offering maybe 20M for player who wont be sold for less than 35,30. Someone might steal him like usual.
Lukaku paid loan.
Asllani paid loan.
Belanova paid loan.
Di maria free.
Pogba free.

Maybe if juve finish Zaniolo for 40,50 that ll raise some eyebrows.
Doesnt paint nice picture for future of seria a.

The way you look at ‘stats’ is very superficial. Even this silly argument about positions, which means next to nothing, can be easily disproven by just filtering out his games by position. Go to transfermarkt, filter his history by AM games and you’ll see it’s predominantly his early career prior to his breakout 2018/19 season as a RW. Everyone knows Ziyech is a predominantly left footed RW that likes to roam and cut in. Just looking at a single ‘stat’ without context and saying ‘look he’s an AM!’ is just silly and insults our intelligence.

Same exact point applies to CDK.

Also, he’s not slow. He’s actually really quick for his size.

Pioli will put CDK as AM that drift to the right, and Ziyech as RW that drift to the middle. Nothing wrong there :D
