Lol I saw the time stamp..Blafing?
he was here yesterday… still got it
Impeccable reasoning as usual.Origi has been spending time on the bench doing nothing for years... but he will join training tomorrow and not today, most likely because he thinks we stole a day from his vacation time due to a medical examination. A true professional.
Three thousand fans to welcome Milan. Today the Rossoneri gathered for the first time after the celebrations for the Scudetto: holidays over, we need to think about next season. Excluding Adli and Pobega, no new faces were seen (Origi will arrive tomorrow).
The Milan coach Stefano Pioli presented himself at the press conference to take stock of the team, talk about the transfer market and goals. Here are the words of him live.
Behind the coach, the new shirt, with the shield in the center between the Puma brand and the Milan crest. "It's a great pride" says Pioli on the new jerseys. "Our strength has been to continue to believe in our qualities, in our players and in our way of playing. These are characteristics that we must maintain and improve, always questioning ourselves. I know that you will ask me a lot of market questions, but I will answer in part ... In all cases: I'm sure none of our players have reached their maximum potential. "
"It was a great summer," he says. "I saw so many fans and children wearing the Milan shirt, a real joy for me." On the transfer market: "We need to include quality players or players who are functional to our way of being on the pitch. We must be creators of possibilities, find the right solutions to put in the right place. I am convinced that this team has a lot of room for improvement, and that that we did last year made us more aware. Our level will have to rise, we are Milan and we have to fight to win. "
On Ibrahimovic: "I hope to be able to coach him again. Now he is recovering from his injury, he has to work. I would like him to do it here, because he is a champion in everything. Leao? He is a player who can break games and still has room for growth. ".
Europe goal? Pioli is clear: "Last year's experience in the Champions League taught us a lot. We didn't miss much to be competitive, even if we can't think now of Milan winning the Champions League. There are teams that have different budgets. but I am equally sure that we have grown even after the negative experiences of last year. We will wait for the draw on 25 August to find the stimuli and motivations necessary to do well ".
On Dybala and De Katelaere: "We are talking about two different profiles. We have capable managers behind us who will know how to improve the team."
And on the managers: "I'm calm, they've always worked a lot in recent weeks" confirms Pioli. "Now I think about the pitch: there will be great attention on the preparation to get to the top from the first matches. Dida? He was very good with Maignan, but some time ago he told us that he needed to return to Brazil."
On Pobega: "I hope he can be the Tonali of last season. He has had a great season, he's very interesting and I think he can do well with us."
Pioli also spoke of Adli: "he is intelligent and dynamic. We need to understand the position in which to deploy him."
as i've been saying for weeksPobega and Adli seem ready to be starters.
Ignore them...Dybala has played the AM role a number of times before (including this season). Therefore, although he has significantly more experience @ SS, it's not too much to expect a player of his experience and quality to play just a few yards further down the pitch Furthermore, Pioli has been happy to experiment with CMs like Krunic, Kessie or even Maldini in the AM spot before plus MMM don't always sign players based on their favourite position e.g. Salad was a RB/RM before converting to RW whereas Messias played @ SS for Crotone but was somehow considered a suitable RW/AM backup despite fuck all experience.Sure, I also don't think that AM is his best position, I see him as a striker.
But my original point was that he would be an upgrade over what we have and he would be free, you could sell him for a profit if he doesn't turn out good. There's also the chance that he was badly mismanaged in the last 3 years between Sarri, Pirlo and Allegri 2.0 the Juve team was clearly regressing. In our team, I can see him flourishing if the chemistry is there, even at AM.
Of course, I would prefer CdK but he seems costly and Dybala has quality and he's free.. I just think that he is worth the risk even though I hate him
was me.I know it’s early but It’s starting to feel like … with Kessie gone, this is Baka’s time .
What if there was an understanding that you’re here to replace Kessie when he leaves, but you’ll barely play the first season.
His performances and level?
I always believed even when on fire he has that stupid pass to the opponent, that late clumsy challenge, that moment of unawares of his surroundings when he has the ball. He Has all this in him. But can also be also a more than decent DM with continuity. Done it here before (different context) and with Napoli too.
I also don’t believe Mangement don’t judge players like us fans “he wasnt good this season, gtfo” … Tonali wouldn’t have been kept that way.
They carefully scouted the player and seen qualities we can use. they go by that and can be patient with it. Whether it’s a young player that need to figure himself out of its shell like Tonali or even Diaz… or a player who has not had continuity to be able to perform like Bakayoko or even FBT.
I was baffled by his return, I even had a back and forth with @Curupira (was it you?) … I thought why let Meite go, who was starting to gel in, can bring Bakayoko’s physicality with better technical skills and passing on a lower salary and Lower transfer fee and turn to Bakayoko. Made no sense to me.
But he arrived and is on a 2 years loan…beside the usual habit of linking a coach (Gattuso) with all his former players when he takes over a new club. There are no real indications his loan will be cut short. Like Brahim.
The only thing is us (fan) saying “he’s not good he must be replaced) which then over time create that certitude in our mind that it’s true.
Anyways, summer still long, we’ll see … but that’s the feel I’m getting
Imagine we're all at the bar and the waitress looks at our table hopelessly confused....then our Lord and Savior MassterMark starts drawing a formation of drinks for herI don't think the San Siro is ready for all our autism in one space

Irrespective, multiple sources have already confirmed that we're in discussions with Dybala so unless Pioli plans on changing formation (highly unlikely), he's being considered as Brahim's replacement
Yeah, the 'keep Bakayoko' theory sounds good until we remember that Pioli purposefully kept him out of the team to reduce his games so we don't trigger the option. I think this was confirmed at one point, unless that too was a lie.was me.
I thought Bakayoko was like 24-25 until you told me he’s not much younger than Meite . Time flies.
Anyways I think there were reports that Bakayoko himself is unhappy with his playing time. Seeing we are trying to keep it under a certain number and Pioli avoided fielding him as much as possible, termination of the loan and wiping our hands with him at least is an option if his agent can find someone else that wants to take him.
looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolMore confermato
We should go with the experienced option aka Dybala. Having 2/3 extremely young, inexperienced players for the AM spot (CDK/Adli/Diaz) is a recipe for disaster.
PS: CDK is predominantly a CF/SS too (like Dybala) yet Pioli just confirmed that it's a straight shootout between the two for the AM spot loooooooooool.
Could be.was me.
