We just put the 2nd best team in Ligue 1 last season, and a team that is about to start their next campaign next weekend, to the sword.

Also, to all those disrespecting Messias because of his "low contributions" last season, just remember this:
- He started his pre-season later than the rest because of the late transfer saga.
- He came over to us and got injured very early on (possibly due to the late pre-season and getting up to Milan-level speed)
- He only started his first game with us in matchweek 15, he practically played a little over 50% of last seasons campaign, and mostly as an impact sub.
- Still he had 7 G/A contributions in the league (8 if we counted the disallowed Spezia winner) and another 2 G/As in the UCL.



Given he's actually starting the season with us, I can't see why he wouldn't double his output production this season, even as an impact sub.
Sure Ziyech is "a whole other level" and stuff, but is he really?


Going on his past two season's stats, I'd say that's actually debatable.
