Adli is just like Modric. If we played a 433, then yes, he can be a CM.

He really didn't play as a DM for Bordeaux, his team would flood the middle and clog the midfield with players. Adli does not make good enough tackles to play in our double pivot. You'd have to train him for that, and to be quite frank, so far Adli has shown the best passing range and vision of any player on our team.

It would be a waste misuse him.

If we didn’t have CDK, I’d agree with you.

But CDK is such an amazing talent and one of his strengths is roaming and finding pockets of space to do damage. He’s much better off being in the center rather than on the right to achieve this.

DM is probably the only way he gets into this team, and it’s not like our double pivot requires a pure destroyer either

Anyway let us see, Pioli has shown to be smart with putting players in the right positions to succeed

I read something on twitter about it. Adli is no stranger to the double pivot role and if you think about it, he may actually fit pretty nicely. Good work rate, good passing, good height and ability to make vertical passes. If he fits the DM position, then we are fine with Bennacer, Tonali and Adli for starters rotating all the time and Krunic/Pobega are subs for the last minutes.
CDK will be the starting AM rotating with Brahim, which means we are really counting on Messias and Salad to be our RWs this season. Absolutely awful decision.

If we don’t bring in another DM and move Adli there, I’m 99% sure we bring in Ziyech on loan

I would prefer this approach over some random kid from Denmark
