we just need to be prepared that prices will double over the next 1-2 years
better start buying onyedikas now and many of them, so that in 2 years some of them will be ready, or we will be left with scraps

If we didn’t have CDK, I’d agree with you.

But CDK is such an amazing talent and one of his strengths is roaming and finding pockets of space to do damage. He’s much better off being in the center rather than on the right to achieve this.

DM is probably the only way he gets into this team, and it’s not like our double pivot requires a pure destroyer either

Anyway let us see, Pioli has shown to be smart with putting players in the right positions to succeed

Pioli literally said Tonali is our DM.

I was referring to Adli in this post. Just think that it doesn’t make sense to move CDK to the right to accommodate him at 10, rather have him be the third midfielder at the 6

The real question here is, is it more advantageous to have CDK as AM with Messias/Salad as RW? Or CDK as RW with Brahim/Adli as AM? I feel like with the first option we'd be left with pure mediocrity on the right, whereas with the second option we'd have quality on the right and very good choices in the middle.

That's my take anyway. I would just hate going into yet another season with Messias and Salad as options on the right. That right wing has been our biggest weakness since Pioli took over, and it's still not being addressed properly.

#Gazzetta: If Abdou #Diallo does not join #ACMilan, Stefano #Pioli would rely on Matteo #Gabbia, who has had an excellent pre-season and would not leave on loan to #Sampdoria. https://t.co/KYoAOLTJRE

Fine as we are....

Florenzi as theo backup
Alexis as calabria backup

Balou toure as ........i dont know if he can back someone yet or not...

Of the three positions we need signings for, I think one of them will likely be signed in January.

I don't think a backup LB is a priority for this transfer window. Keep in mind Calabria can fill in LB quite decently if we're desperate.

I totally get your point of view. Watching Messias on Saturday was painful. Ideally the RW is addressed and we can have the best of both worlds.

Both Ziyech and Pulisic are available on loan, Pulisic especially could be great from a commercial standpoint with American owners

Yeah if it’s a 433, Tonali would be the most defensive minded of the 3. The other two, Adli and Bennacer would have the job of progressing the ball. Leao on the left, CDK on the right.

I honestly think there needs to be an actual breakdown of this EPL money and what is holding back Milan... I went... extreme here. But a few notes:

Leao's lawsuit is the biggest factor in whatever he does next--it's weird to me that it is one of the most under-covered stories while people try and create a drama out of him extending or not. Also: he has two years left on his deal, as does Bennacer, people act like he's on the cusp of leaving for free, this window. But his lawsuit directly concerns how much money he makes. I've talked about this a lot, so I'll stop.

But let's compare revenues, because much is made of EPL revenue, until you look at it, for real, for real:

In sum: we need to build a stadium and participate in the CL consistently (and advanced) so that we can make more broadcast revenue, as CL money allows you to increase your sponsorship money (we have CL bonuses), stadium income, and match EPL broadcast money--as the numbers illustrate clearly.
I appreciate some of your very detailed posts but I would like to ask. What is Milan’s actual last reported revenue? You are comparing projected revenue to the last reported revenue.

Let’s compare apples to apples. If Chelsea’s last reported revenue is 493 million, Liverpool 550 million, Man United 558 million and even Spurs at 406 million. What was Milan’s? Wasn’t it in the lower to mid 200’s?

I ask because throwing out numbers that are not realized like 360 million or 460 million might make the gap with EPL look smaller in theory, but the actual reported revenue is what matters.

By reported numbers we are only like 20 million or so ahead of mediocre EPL teams like West Ham, Everton and the likes

According to the Mirror, Ismael Bennacer has so far refused the renewal of the contract expiring in two years. On the Algerian midfielder, in fact, would be Liverpool, which could return to the assault in a short time.

First of all, English newspapers writing about Italian football is 99% pure bullshit stories. Secondly, Bennacer will renew without the shadow of a doubt. It was different with Capanoglu, Dollarumma and Ke$$ie, who were requesting way over our salary cap. But Isma is asking 3.5mil, which is a very reasonable amount for a player of his calibre, and within our current range. Nothing to worry about.

Yup - When you are calling a person lesser than human and then following it up with another insulting intelligence does it matter if you think if racism played a part in it or not?????

Fuck defending that type of shit in any form even if you dont like how a poster responds. If you want to insult people at least find more tasteful ways to do it..........like calling them a trekkie or an accountant - its 2022 people, be better
Did you insulting @Samaldinho now?

wait, he's accountant or lawyer?

Agreed it would be a waste to play Adli in a deeper role as AM is without a doubt where he will really prosper. His intelligence and tactical awareness in that role is very evident.

As I posted before he plays without fear or hesitation so AM would fit him like a glove. I say again I see Adli and CDK having the freedom to roam the pitch and cause opposing teams a real headache.

Deloittes reporting on us was inaccurate. If you want to compare apples to apples maybe do a little research. They listed us at 216m, which the club disputed themselves, showing that they made, without CL tv revenue and our new sponsorships from last year, at least 260m.

The club delayed sponsorship revenue to different periods in a staggered method to increase it's year-on-year revenue increase. Like how our new Puma deal is delayed until 2023, instead of being in effect... now.

So, I was comparing apples to apples.

And you also clearly didn't read what I wrote lol.

Bennacer is not a "pillar" until he can become less injury prone and can play the same number of games as Kessie. Kessie is a big loss. Replacing him should have been a priority. Pobega is NOT it.

Looks like we're compromising now by going for someone at Pobega and Baka's level than a true Kessie replacement. You can't go from targeting Renato Sanches to now going for a Danish league player. Not serious.
Actually Onyedika could end up being a very very talented player. I don’t think we would lose money on the deal if he doesn’t do well but I think he could do well here.
The issue is we are trying to replace a Champions League ready player with a question mark. Our midfield now is weaker than last season and I would hate to have it derail our champions league campaign. We also need a fast CB.

All of this midfield issue is because we refused to add 3 million to our bid for Sanches after he agreed to join us and before PSG became involved per French papers.

Who should Milan buy? Pretty simple question that no one wants to answer.

If your retort is "it's not my job to scout" (which is fair) then my next question is: then how do you know whether to be upset or happy with Onyedika? Or even Enzo?

Enzo has scored goals at Benfica, that's why people think he's good. I doubt many of you have taken the time to watch Benfica games. Let alone Danish league games.

I haven't even watched a highlight of Onyedika, so I have no idea what he is. But how do you even know if he was fodder or not? Lol. None of us watched Theo, Tomori, Bennacer, Leao, and on and on and on.

If you want players you know, then name some. It's easy to do. Offer a name, I'm interested.
You want name, I'll give you name

Premiere league money - no big surprise really. The Italian league really need to get it together and get a better deal on tv coverage, stadium ownership and sponsorship to bring more revenue.

That’s not the point

and to answer your rhetorical question with another rhetorical question

on a scale of insult vs compliment, where does this lean

View attachment 9818

“how is this an insult“

is the only insult I see in this post exchange

we all have two hands. Stop trying to jack us off
Embarrassing really… so sensitive for an old man
