cant remember against which team it was...
the goal was a reflex side scissors kick on a lose ball from about 4 meters....anyone recall that one?

anyway for me is:
1. Kaka 2nd vs Man United (made evra and heinze look like clowns)
2. Kaka vs Celtic (any run from half way deserves a praise)
3. Kaka 3d vs Anderlecht (lovely top corner rocket)
4. Seedorf vs Ascoli (super ball chested by Seedorf then lobbed over the advancing keeper)
5. Ronaldo vs Empoli (enuff stepovers?)

I wonder why nobody mentioned Pippo's 2nd goal in the final. It was classic Pippo at the highest order. Beat the offside trap, took the ball away from keeper's reach and fired. If the ball was hit so powerfully and just slammed the back of the net, I would never mention it but the way the ball just rolled meekly until it crossed the line was a moment to savor. I remember the commentator yelled "Inzaghiiiiiiiiiiii" the length it took the ball to roll before shouting "It's Milan 2 Liverpool nil".

And the way he scored was another classic. I always admired the way he concentrate. Pippo never looks at the goal whenever he kicks, he just took one look at the goalie, huffing and puffing, eyes always on the ball when dribbling then pulled the trigger. You can see it in the Bayern goal.

yeah..it was a very tight angle...
Great goal from Inzaghi...not number one, but definetely top 5 goals...

Couldn't find the news. My memory doesn't serve me that well either. Good goal from him was when he kicked the ball in after a deflection having his steps wrong. Still he converted it perfectly. I would compare the technique to backhand in tennis.

I had the exact same thought when Pippo had kicked the ball. It like floated and floated and you hold yourself till the exact moment the ball crosses the line.

For me, it took ages to cross the line at that moment, I even had time to think that the ball was going to pass just near, and then scream "get in"... but now when I see the highlights, it goes in really really fast.
I still don't know why, but when I celebrated the goal I just said "gol" and smiled, it was so cold considering what it meant, and how much I was wanting the ball to get in (+ considering how I celebrated all of our CL goals, I was so emotionless in that moment)

That was why it was my #1, it wasn't easy at all for Clarence to score that one, besides it was that moment, that I knew CL was ours (though never said it out loud so that I wouldn't jinx it).

Nobody mentioned Kaka's first goal at Old Trafford... Of course 2nd goal was completely unexpected and spectacular, but the first one was simply amazing, a rare mix of speed and precision.
