I think that's the most entertaining Milan side I've witnessed as a supporter.

Calcio is full with compromised. Why humiliate the opposing team when you're winning 4-0 already and the opposition didn't seem to pose any real threat? I read somewhere that there was a kind of gentleman agreement that the team won't win with more than 4 goals margin. And during the last 2 -3 games of the season the 2 oppposing teams will play it safe if they have nothing more at stakes meaning they're already save from relegation or not aiming for a place in the european competition.

I checked Milan's big wins in the last 10 years and there were only a handful of occasion when Milan won more than 4 goals margin :
- 02/03 vs Torino - (6-0)
- 03/04 vs Ancona - (5-0) but the first goal came in the 64th minute
- 04/05 vs Fiorentina - (6-0)
- 05/06 vs Treviso - (5-0)

There were a lot of 4-0 or 5-1 wins but aside from above results, Milan didn't win more than 5 goals margin. We surely could do it, don't you think so? So I won't bother with the leisure pace of the 2nd half. Why risk it? The tifosi attending the match didn't seem to bother as well. I guess they were just happy to leave San Siro early instead of bracing the traffic. I was actually ready to go to bed when the game entered the 70th minute. The game started at 2.45 AM Indonesian time and will finish around 4.30 AM wherein I usually go to bed around 5.00. The chance to get an additional of 30 minutes of sleeping time was really tempting and the only thing stop me from doing so was the eagerness to see El-Sharaawy on the pitch.

Can't really rate the players based on 45 minutes of 'real' performance but I was very surprised and happy that Thiago Silva got his goal, what a way to mark his first captaincy.

Also there was a bit of funny feeling when I saw the starting 11. This is probably the 1st time since 01/02 where we didn't have any of Abiatti, Gattuso, Seedorf, Inzaghi, Ambrosini or Nesta on the field in a game. Can somebody check it?

why all the hate on pato? not being fit to play a whole match bc of just coming back off injury he played pretty well. haters keep forgetting that he is not the focus of the team, instead ibra is. this means that he wasnt getting a lot of service from boateng or aquaman, there had been countless times where he made a run to the right flank and instead of recieving a pass, boateng would turn around and play it to abate/vbommel. he still poached a goal and got a penalty, very good for a striker. he needs to gain some more confidence tho i felt like he was scared to go in hard against the defenders in fear of getting injured.

btw to every1 on al's dic... about SES, clearly al knws that SES isn't ready to be played in against difficult opposition, hes completely lost with the team. having him on there is like having a non-existant player. at the most he deserves 15 minutes on matches we are dominating.

Include Pirlo in the list and you are probably correct.

A very entertaining first half and an overall more than solid performance by the Rossoneri. Ibra was on fire, that wonderful shot from just outside the box was a nice way to complete the first 100 goals in Serie A!

I also saw a very restless and busy Nocerino, a top notch Anchor MvB and a very calm Yepes. One should of course keep in mind that Chievos attack wasn't exactly dangerous, so neither MvB nor the CBs were under much pressure.

It was beautiful to see Thiago Silva score as capitano, very happy for him!
Antonini tried to show/prove to much in my opinion, he should have laid back a little which would likely have led to less mistakes and a boost in self confidence. Still hoping for Taiwo to adjust to Milan and Serie A for LB though.

Anyway, the gap to the top of the table is almost closed, here we go again!

Basic Milan win. 4-0
Allegri style.

My predictions are the best. :D

We played really good yesterday in the first half, I'm really impressed, I screamed when T.Silva scored with the captains armband. :D But We could have scored atleast 2 more goals in the second half but instead we closed the game and played boring with just passings...

If there is an unwritten rule in Italy about respecting the other teams if you are are 4 goals away from them, like 4-0 or 5-1 then I thinks it's all cool and it's nice to have a "rule" like that. :D

If people don't think we're the best team in Italy after the last 4-5 games they are just idiots...

Forza Milan! :star:

too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini
caught the last 10 minutes of the game sunday, but now having watched what i missed on sunday great first half general consensus really, overall great play but i would like to see us do this against the bigger sides. not complaining very happy with a 4-0 win Thiago's goal  Ibra was possessed  whatever it is i hope it stays with him. Pato's goal will hopefully build his confidence and speed up his recovery.

As for the gentlemen's agreement it all depends on who we are playing Merda or Jube should receive no mercy anyone we play in the champions league definitely no mercy but in order to that we need more in midfield.
