Hopefully our CB duo avoid a yellow card. Imagine not having either against Atalanta. Yikes.

But for now let’s collect 3 points

If we go with same grinta adn determination as last 2 games, i dont think we re losing points here, despite verona being pain in the ass.
Many re underestimating atalanta imo. I still think it ll be hardest. Close to finish line, at home, huge pressure.

Anyway, i think we can get 7 points overall.

If someone told me We would get to a point where I’d want Krunic to start as am in the beginning of the season I’d tell to stfu and gtfo, but here we are.

What would people say to letting Ibra starting?
Obviously he isn't back to his best but with Giroud as the starter, we definitely lack something. Perhaps it was Ibra's tendency to get more involved and drop very deep if necessary.
Or just the fact the others understand his movement and demands more.

If the fire is still burning, I think a Zlatan with something to prove is always dangerous. He came here and proved it, beyond anyone's imagination. Now, again he has his doubters who are calling for him to retire. Allow him to prove himself in these last few games, secure the trophy and prove he deserves 1 more year.

He got back from injury like 2 weeks ago, I really don't think he has 90 min in him.

Krunic as AM

Kessie if played as AM please don't even try to do AM stuff, he is incapable. No, there is no need to prove anyone wrong. No time for that kind of garbage philosophy. Just fight for possession. DO NOT EVEN TRY to be an AM

Diaz/Rebic as RW

Giroud to score or shut the fuck up and fuck off. DO NOT ACT as if he feels sorry for not nailing chances. He only has 60 minutes in his legs. So fucking score while he still can. That is all.

Ibra to undress around the 60th minute and come in.

Messias & Saele to fuck off. No, we don't need them to do anything. There are no instructions for them like Giroud. Just get the fuck out of sight. If Pioli insists on playing them, treat them like ghosts. We don't see nothing.

I'm already stressed the fuck out over the Verona game.
Don't. I think we'll win. It's Atalanta at home, under the pressure of the San Siro that i'm worried about.

We have two games away from home and we tend to play better away. We have more points away, I think.

We tend to play better against teams that open up and all three of the teams all try to play, some to an extreme degree.

I think on paper it looks tough, but all three games favor us in some way. The fact that we can draw one and still win even if Inter win every game, that makes it a lot easier and makes sure we have some cushion in case fate doesn't smile on us.

It's going to be a very aggressive game and that's why we need Kessie with Tonali-Bennacer. We'll be doing the usual positional rotation against a back three, with Theo coming inside to help isolate Leao against the RCB. As long as Montipo doesn't turn into prime Yashin I think we'll win this one. Their crazy pressing won't work on us with Maignan, and if they try it regardless we can punish them with Leao.

Verona press really well and score a lot of goals from high turnovers. Some teams really suffer from that sort of pressure, but we're sort of immune to it because of Maignan. We can also force a high line without worry because of the speed of Kalulu and Tomori, so we don't have to worry too much about being pinned back. I'd imagine we're going to see a lot of the buildup pattern where Tomori and Kalulu go ridiculously wide and Tonali drops into the middle, to confuse their marking. I'll try to keep a count of how many times we do that.

They're also not that threatening on set pieces, they've scored fewer goals from them relative to how many they've scored overall compared with other teams. Overall, on paper, it seems we have the tools to in this one. Anything can happen on the day of course, but it's not as bad on paper as a similar level team playing a low block that won't let us run.

Why is the Serie A calendar so shit. The games should be happening at the same time. If Milan win here, they need to match the times for next weeks round. An Inter loss next week would mean a Milan win could have earned them the scudetto at home in the same game

Its now or never for Milan. A draw would take us top but another win puts the pressure back on Inter. I'm hoping for 3 wins but if we could win the next 2 that would leave us needing only a draw at Sassuolo and it would be a massive up yours to Inter to win the Scuedetto with a better H2H record.

I can see them both getting booked for the softest foul at the first time because it's Serie A.

I hope Pioli fields the formation as a 4-1-2-3. Tonali and Kessie should play more upfront, we need more runs inside the box. Look at Inter, they got Barella and Capanoglu always inside the opposition's box when they attack.

So Andreazzoli said Asllani could come to play at San Siro… but apparently Asllani also said yesterday that Inter are the strongest team in the league so maybe he’s going there 😒

My worry is that this will be the same type of game as Torino away this season.

They play in an almost identical way, so yeah, it's going to be similar.

What’s with this Kessie as AM talk? I haven’t seen a single game where this worked well. Why not start Krudinho and bring Brahim as impact sub?
