That would benefit us in some ways. Too many of their players gravitate towards him leaving far too much space for our other attackers.

Madrid used to do it all the time with Messi and he'd just slip in Pedro or Villa for a one on one with Casillas.

Of the players you list, only Mbappe has the same explosion. Salah is fast but he doesn’t have the same change of pace like those two. He’s like a gas engine sports car that goes 0-60 quickly. Rafa is an EV. A Tesla. The exchange of power is instantaneous, when he decides to go no one can keep pace. Its just…different.

Salah is insanely fast, he uses his threat of pace and danger to open up space for Mane. Before Salah came, Mane never scored anywhere close to what he does now. Leao needs to show that pace in Europe, Serie A seldom has defenders with pace.

However, he does lack the stamina. Vinicius has insane pace and acceleration. But he can do that constantly for 90+ minutes. Leao runs out of gas. When he improves his stamina, I think his shots will be better, his passes will be better, and his choices will improve.

Leao is capable of being world class, but until he puts in that work, he won't get there. I think he will, and he has, he just needs to make that next jump.

I can’t believe I ever doubted Tonali. He scored three freaking goals yesterday if you think about it, in one of the most important Milan matches in the last decade. The guy has ice in his veins.
