Which defender should we pick up in January?

With all of these threads open talking about these guys, who would you prefer? I think I managed to get them all in here.

I really like Lugano and De Jong. I'd hope if we could pick up 2, it would be them.

He is definitely the youngest option... and as much as we need younger players, I dont know if I would want to rely on someone as untested as De Jong, at least, if he didnt work out as planned, I think we should pick up Lugano as well.

i also think chivu would be the hardest to get... after everything that roma went through to keep him... and since roma will unload cassano tomorrow... (ansa just posted that real will sign him tomorrow...) ok, i dont get it... they made 2 HUGE signings and we havent made any!!

I don't understand all of you who want Lugano to join our ranks, he's nothing more then a descent CB. I saw him vs L'pool last month, and that guy ISN'T Milan-quality! F*ck him, we don't need that guy, he's slow and he did actually loose many of the duels vs Liverpools forwards...All of you keep saying he's such a good header? No, he isn't! The problem of our defence is that Gattuso is outta form nowadays + the rest of the midfield has been kinda lazy defansive. Not to mention the many injuries we've suffered!

Zebina's agent says he is leaving Juve, but with Sagnol turning down juve it will be a lot less likely to happen.

and Cristiano Marques Gomez, better known as Cris, was mentioned in the article about Cafu being exchanged for Lugano.

i dont think there is a chance in hell we will pick up Zebina, especially now. i would have liked Sagnol, however.

ive seen a few Lyon games and wasnt soooo impressed with Cris and he is older (29 in june). but, the only guy who i think is a star and a candidate to be a milan defender, at this point, is chivu, and i dont seem him leaving roma now, after cassano has left. that is about all the reorganization roma will do over january.
anyway, my point is, the younger guys like de jong and lugano have more potential to become really good. maybe not maldini or cafu stardom level, but still good.
