Birsa single-handedly destroyed Inter at the start of the season with 2 golazos. Scored a free kick golazo vs Lazio shortly after. 4 goals + 5 assists in Serie A so far this season. 6 + 7 last season (more than Niang ever managed). Never once complained, always gave his all. By no means am I saying he's a great player, or even very good, but he would be a hell of a lot more useful to us than Niang.

Birsa would be a decent squad option. It seems like he's improved since he's left us and is better than at least Honda now.

Hebei Fortune has owners with deep pockets, Bejing Guoan is a team with older history and usually don't have a reputation of making big signings. I hope he would be going to Hebei, and the money should be at least enough for Papu Gomez. At this point even he would play some significant minutes over Niang.

Earlier this season it looked as if regista position might be the most pressing for reinforcement in January. But at the moment it's really clear that the LW position desperately needs the most attention if we are competing for a CL spot. I like Niang, but his attitude against Torino really disappointed me. I feel like he should have some really good performances off the bench to convince Montella to start him again.
