Maybe still too soon to open this thread but I just love this player and I know most of the forum does as well, and we're finally linked with him, and this time it's serious.

AC Milan playmaker hunt: idea Diamonti, like Pastore
Chasing the playmaker. As we told you last night, AC Milan will change form by switching to 4-3-1-2. Adriano Galliani has pushed the bud entries for Kaka, also because we are already in the team Boateng and young Saponara. But for the case in which Boateng had to be sold or moved to the median, Milan are already planning another search for a playmaker. The last concrete idea leads to Alessandro Diamanti, the protagonist between Bologna and National this year and beyond. There is also Juventus at the point it has an agreement in principle with Diamonds, but reports instead with the Bologna are very cold. And Milan is serious. Diamonds door to reality, dream instead that Javier Pastore to Milan Galliani could love it and try again if the Paris Saint-Germain were to sell it on loan. A track still harder than diamonds, a serious idea for Milan to come.

Diamanti is a top player, a trequartista that would suit us perfectly.
He'd come in cheap 6-8 million (less with players exchange) because he wants to leave and is turning 30 soon.
It would be a great idea considering we have Saponara, as Diamanti will play for another 3 years at the top level at least, and he wouldn't mind being benched in case Saponara explodes and be a back for a club like Milan.
His wage is under 1 million which is 10 less than Kaka's, and hes arguably better ATM, and 1 year younger.
He is a set piece taker, play maker, has the best shot in the league, hard working, flair, can beat his man, his crosses are out of this world, what else is there he can't do..
There is a youth project going on, but once in a while you need a bit older player and this is just a win-win situation considering Saponara, Diamanti's quality and value.
