I really feel sorry for Udinese. They are so unlucky.

That's true but it's not what I'm asking. Why is the imaginary card worse than demanding the booking verbally?

Calum Calum, it's not what you say, it's in the way you say it ;). Handwaving a card= aggressive demand; talking about it = a formal way of communicating.

Is it just me, or does Wenger (watching the game from the box) look like a gambler who's gambled away all of his money, but has just put his last £10 on a long-odds win?

He just seems so desperate somehow

that's how wenger the wanker always looks, he's a first class grim loooking android

i really hate that guy, he's probably one of the best managers ever, but i still HATE him

(after milan, i'm a big tottenham hotspurs fan)

Di Natale should not be taking those corners

This is a great opportunity for Serie A to represent. #4 team in Italy vs #4 team in England.

Yes.

They should try a 4-4-2 with him and Di Natale.

Hahaha. I don't fully believe in that, but you and I both know sometimes you can get away with being an asshole if you just say it the right way and not just with women. And Calum should know that well he has a GF and studies law.

like you said. Because your average nitwit can't tell what he's asking for onTV. Since it's an arsenal player (english club) the sky commentators will make you believe he's asking for a cup of tea or how the ref's children are.

Well in fairness Arsenal have always been arse licked by commentators and journalists alike.

I understand that Di Natale is their talisman and best player, but when they're all around the box, I don't think he should try do it all.

There are two comebacks alr. Lyon and Benfica, after going down to early goals. Who's to say Udinese can't come back and win it.

Very competitive game so far. Udinese should have scored, really. When you play big teams like this, you can't afford those couple of slip-ups.

But I'm very sure they'll score. Can they do it at the Emirates though..

I'm loving Udinese's precision long-balls, wish we had someone who could do that.

+1

unfortunately it seems to happen quite often with small teams in europe.. they play well, get unlucky and suddenly concede a couple of goals and the tie ends

Half time:
Early Arsenal dominance, they got the perfect start in the game, but it's beginning to get 50-50. Udinese has stepped up and reclaimed the field, but you never know in football, maybe we see a miracle from them. Arsenal is still a tough opponent, they have great teamwork and looks like winning, only if the Italians doesn't move forward...

See, I'm the too-much-talk-not-enough-action type. I probably need to *ahem* wave my card a bit more.

I'm loving Udinese's precision long-balls, wish we had someone who could do that.

Milan very rarely play against anyone who leaves half as much space in behind as Vermaelen and Koscielny. I'd back Van Bommel, Seedorf and Silva to pick out those balls given the right space and the right movement in front of them.
