What the fuck is wrong with him?

Why do all our young players turn into shit...

Very sad trend this is.. Youth development is utter shit. Even the players who establish theirselves in the first XI never persist/bounce back from their dip.

For El Shaarawy.. It's come to the point where I genuinely can't see him fulfilling his potential at Milan, which makes me really sad. For his career, if he wants to keep developping, new scenery would probably be a good idea.

De Sciglio.. Idk, too early to say. But he needs to wake the fuck up. He can't afford to play as apathic and with a lack of agression like he's doing now, he's not good enough for that.

Ok, so one reason why some clubs are more renowned than others at developing youth players is due to the fact that they have better coaches. Maybe one of the reasons why we suck at developing youngsters is also because our coaches suck.

Have we had one single youngster develop fully in our club in the last 5 years? It seems like all our best youngsters (Pato, El Shaarawy, De Sciglio) regress after a year or two and that can't be coincidence. I can't say whether it's physical or technical training that is lacking ... the problem is that they all become more stiff in their movements.

It goes further than that even

Niang was a super promise at 18, he's no further now, 2 years wasted
Balotelli scores 12 in 13 in first 6 months, didn't build on that
Cristante debut at 18 in CL, always close to breakthrough, never made it
Slightly older but still new to the topclub scene players like Nocerino, Urby, Poli, Constant who come from a smaller team, do good for a few months then become fodder.
Etc, And this is all in the VERY recent past.

This is a very problematic trend. Can't put it on the player('s personalities) all the time. Even it is, it means the scouting is all wrong, which is still on the club.

There is no pressure on the players to do good. Just like you said, when they arrive from a smaller club they try hard for a few months and then they just decide to take it easy and receive their much undeserved fat paychecks.
This is mostly a problem of upper management for letting shit like this fly. Just look at Muntari. He tore his ligaments a few years back while on vacation doing stupid shit and while it was reported he will get his wage cut in half as punishment it never happened. Now he makes more than ever and plays worse than ever. And even after he injures our players right and left in training he doesn't get punished. Even after yesterday's outburst after being subbed vs Torino he won't get shit.
Imagine if it was Jube or any normal club, he would be out on his ass a long time ago. But not here. Our players are the most spoiled, shameless leeches out there. That's why no one wants to leave, they feel good here, no pressure, no matter how shit a job they do they won't get scolded and they will get paid handsomely. Everyone would love a job like that and would never want to leave.
For the money we are paying our players we must be the worst team in the world by a mile. Worse than the likes of Cesena and Parma, because they pay their players about 5-10 times less than we do.
I just hope that after this summer at least 10 players leave, don't get renewed. Zaccardo, Pazzini, Mexes, Bonera, Albertazzi, Muntari, Essien, Nocerino, Birsa, Matri,... Those below average, useless players are costing us about 35 million gross in wages every year. That's more than what half the Serie A clubs pay for their whole teams! We pay that for our bench players! Even Real Madrid doesn't pay their bench much more than that. But the worst thing is that our starters are almost as shit as our bench players. Bench like ours should not cost more than 10, maybe 15 million a year. This is insane. And it's all on Galliani for this monumental fuckup of a management. And Berlusconi is the dumbest CO in the world for not firing a man that's costing him 70 million a year in losses a long time ago. Just get rid of Galliani and start from there. No more of his trademark stupid deals.

It could also be that they are very overrated on here and aren't really as good as some think they are. Any sign of promise is quickly overblown on this board.

Yes, he was. Did you know that Galliani was going to give him 3.5 million per year? :fp: However, when it seemed that he was going to leave. No, G gives him a new contract and a raise.

I really hope he figures it out, but he is really starting to look like Santon 2.0

Abysmal player this season. The streak of his subpar form is much longer than Bonerror. He needs to be loaned out.

what he needs is his ass to be planted on the bench for a few weeks.

He is gaining an entitled Senatore mentality and not playing hard for his spot

I still believe in des. He is young player and with a defender, time and game will help them improve their game so much. He is talent player and this time he need to maintain consistent form. It isn't surprise his form up and Dow during this time. This is terrible time for him, but if he still hard work, appetite to improve himself I think he will be Milan's captain!

Cristante was 16. Otherwise valid points. Looks like we might soon add Mattia Valoti to your list, a lot of us knew he had talent at our Primavera, we got rid of him and now he is starting to play for Verona ( hell he even won them the game vs Parma).

Can Maldini come and have a sit down with DES in an unofficial capacity or something like that !?

remember after a couple of avarage and 1 good game Berlu or Galliani said he wasn't a teenager but 32yrs old, because he played those matches with maturity....

management should guide these youngsters better than immediatly praising and pressuring them

According to SKY he will be out for 1+ month.

This is good news because he won't be on the pitch. He really should be sold/loaned out though.

More games for Daniele "Alves" Bonera tho :proud:

I would hope that Abate will be first pick for RB and Armero for LB.

CB will likely be some pairing of Alex/Mexes/Rami.

Bonerror was getting the minutes due to injuries/suspensions of all those mentioned above + MdS

His problem is plantar fasciitis and that could be very dangerous, I think he will be out for 40 days or even two months.

He was shit whole season but I feel sorry for him, he seems like nice guy.
And yes, we definitely need new fullback, I would like to see Darmian in rossonero shirt once again. Or Santon.

Yes, it's serious and it's even worse because he already had that injury in November and he was out for 40 days. And after ten days, once again the same injury. Not good.
