Now Milan have five away losses under their belt and there is a very strong desire to turn things around. But, how can this happen? With the rotation system. The coach’s attitude and solution is to use some fresh faces to reinforce the ranks during this period in which there is a game every three days. Would be nice to have Inzaghi as the goalscorer with Sheva and Rui Costa backing him up.

3-6-1 is an interesting formation, because with 6 midfielders we should be able to dominate the midfield, and if you can dominate the midfield then you control the game, and that's what we need to be doing.

Also, to be versatile, your formation could easily swap Gila for Pippo whenever it needs to be done.

Yes, the 3 Defenders MUST be strong, But the great thing is that these 3 defenders would have nothing else to do but defend. With 4 at the back sometime we are left with 2 defenders because the LB and RB is attacking, but with 3, you have a solid back line which also has the added protection of the 2 DM.

Yes ! When i play the video games, if i use 4 defenders, the LB and RB always attack, but when i use 3 defenders, they are always on the back except Milan has a corner kick.

I doubt Carlo will ever play 3 at the back though, but in a strange way it's actually a more solid formation that 4 in Defence.

But as you know, Milan doesn't have enough strong defenders, only Nesta can play in the 3 defenders formation, if Stam has good condition, he can. If Maldini doesn't injured, he can. But Both Stam + Maldini are old and accumulate a lot of injured, and Kaladze + Simic not excellent enough, so......

Milan only needs to get 3 new defenders, that problem will solve. Becasue Milan's midfilders' attack are good enough, so the defenders don't need to so many attack. the 3-4-1-2 in next season will be :
