According to Corriere dello Sport, there is now friction between Li and Fassone, with the owner believing his CEO hasn’t done enough on the refinancing of the debt to Elliott Management.

The club’s management, meanwhile, believes that doubts over the Chinese owner are behind the rejection of the settlement agreement.

Sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli has been forced to suspend all transfer negotiations as a result of the ruling, and La Repubblica reports all the big players are at risk.

I think there needs to be extreme pressure put on Li to leave. Hopefully this 10m thing isn't just newspaper bullshit and there are clauses that allow Elliot to prematurely take over the club if he defaults. No reason to extend deadlines as usual with this guy. If he's late one second, he should be forced to default on the loans and we get to sell to a new owner. This needs to happen ASAP before any ruling is made.

If we sell Bonucci and Romagnoli we could honestly get relegated

wtf?

mustang and zapata had a dominating performance vs napoli

Cds reports tension between Li and Fassone

Li thinks Fassone should have done more
Fassone thinks this is caused by Li

Dollar, Zuzo, Leo, Roma, Bona at risk being sold and Mirabelli has to suspend transfer activities

Don’t know how reliable, but really hope we can put this behind us soon

none of them leaving would change anything.

I'd be more concerned with kessie and hakan leaving.

Milan owner Yonghong Li is due to pay another €10m toward a capital increase by tomorrow, and reports suggest he could be removed if it doesn’t arrive.

Yonghong Li should be the one responsible to find ways to refinancing the debts. He is the one that decided to take the loan. He can't blame Fassone for not doing enough. A president also needs to work.

Our defense was nonsensical this year. Under both Gattuso and montella. Literally , all 5 at the back can leave and it won't make much of a difference.

It was his 1 job! He failed in his networking. G wud have achieved success

What fucking bullshit...

Regardless of how one feels about having a former linesman as a CEO, if the roof is crumbling or even non existent over you, you can network as much as you like. Fassone is not responsible for Li being defunct.

There aren't any adequate offers for Donnarumma or the desire of Gigio himself to leave Milan. Donnarumma's only desire is to omit the negative period and try to regain the trust and the affection of the fans [@DiMarzio]

On the contrary it may be our best hope for a brighter future. The ineptitude of our past and present management is the reason for our troubles right now and we need change (again). Li has repeatedly refused or is incapable of providing the clarity needed to settle all of this drama so something has to give. The sooner we dissociate ourselves from him the better. Our name must not become synonymous with his forever. If the reports are true and the deadline passes then I hope we move forward without him swiftly.

Mate, serious Q: Why are you so invested in Fassone? Wot invokes this loyalty from you?
