pato needs a player of ronaldinho or pirlos passing ability to shine
Pirlo got like 3 assists from 2008-2010. His passing in the build up is all well and dandy, but he is no assist machine.
how is it IBRA's fault? Seriously? I have yet to hear one reason?
Were we winning titles with Pato? He showed immense potential but huge inconsistency. Same inconsistency he has today. All Ibra's arrival did was over 2 years, highlight how far away he is from being a consistent CF on a title winning side.
Normally, players respond to arrival of a WC player at their position by upping their game.
Pato so far has responded by being immature, and using his political power to insure a spot
Ibra's arrival forced a change in our focus, get the ball to Ibra who around the box won't look to pass he'll look to stand around like a dickhead and try to create something for himself.
Here. Pato cannot flourish with Ibra's system. Ibra dawdles, takes ages and then supplies a pass which sometimes comes off. Do you think he gets the majority of our goals and assists because he's just that good? Yes, and no. He is good, but the system could not be more tailoured to him.
Oh, you're becoming worse and worse.
Okay then, Freddie.
Yes and no. It changed our style, for sure. But last year Ibra assisted half of Pato's goals (facT).
This year, Ibra's assisting/creating even more, however Pato is not responding. Theirs a reason Robinho keeps getting in position (and missing) or Boateng or Nocerino or Cassano and not Pato.
He's playing poorly, lazy, generally lackadaisical.
Only because IBRA HAS THE BALL ALL THE TIME WHEN IT'S NEAR THE BOX. You never see anyone make an incisive pass because they have to pass to Ibra. Ibra's assisting and creating more and more? He has like 2 assists.. and Pato is not responding? How? Pato gets the ball when he can get the ball.... excuse the last 2 games, as I would be shaken if I was abortively sold to PSG... but Ibra is the guy who can pass - Not because he's the only one with the ability, but because he's the only one who gets an opportunity. Ibra could go full-****** and try to make MVB score all the open play goals, and we wouldn't be able to do anything, as when he gets the ball - which is often - he decides what to do with it. Simple as that. Pato doesn't get an equal slice. He went from passes galore to a greedy egotistical fool on the edge of the box who stutters until he either shoots or passes an inch to the left or right. FACT.
Goal from Pato. Well done, sir. I think that may almost be the amount Ibra has scored from open play this year...
