kobe is the biggest underachiever known to man. His skill level is high, but he's not a very good player.

Think about it... DWade led a horrendous miami team with a line up of him, arroyo, beasley, QRich, Jermaine Oneal to the f'n playoffs.

I see his ego cancelling him out - it drives him to be a better player than the average baller but it leads him down a selfish path that destroys him from being that complete dominant killer. It also messes him up in those final big games because he believes he has to take over.

Also to say he has zero effect on winning is total rubbish. Shaq needed Kobe to close and later Kobe needed Pau and the rest to assist him when his Jordan immitation failed but he was always an essential part of the squad.

And please dont bring in D-Wade when Dallas just threw away a series.

Whenever Kobe is challeged to do something he usually can do it well but he thinks he is the second coming so he doesnt know boundaries and it leads him into doing crap. Kobe easily could have been Clyde or Richmond, Wade (who is much faster and more aggresive just never developed his shot) but he will go down way above them.

Kobe did well with his ability, he isnt Tracy McGrady or Penny Hardaway.

I ever only spoke about Kobe - so the Magic comments isnt for me but I will put in my 2c - MJ is the best period, end of discussion. Everybody who has a say thinks so and I do too. Yes I saw all of MJ and not all of Magic but MJ never had Magic's teams and he killed everybody.

I think T-Mac is the most gifted player and scorer I have seen, now supplanted by Lebron (all around) and Durant (scoring). Kobe and T-Mac and all of the jordanaire clones I think are around similar levels.

Once again - Gniboli - GTFO - beat them when they werent ready for that type of game and not all in. What happen the next time when Kobe erased him. Also in the NBA he has always ever been a complimentary player who people try to push to the fore - sorry, he aint all that and without Duncan and Parker and bad ass defense he would be in a bigger hole than Kobe's shitty Laker teams.

Manu beats Kobe at raw talent and basketball iq/skill. Maybe if he was in any team other than Spurs he'd become the best SG after Jordan, but in Spurs they don't let you be an egotistical bitch like Kobe.

If anyone has watched Manu with Argentina, they can see that he is easily NBA top tier. in 2003 he deserved finals MVP more than Timmy. Again, if he wasn't paired with Duncan and Parker and rest of the amazing Spurs, I think he would shine more individually.
