It baffles me how people think mds is better than marcello. If Real is stupid enough to agree to that swap we should take it in a heart beat. Marcello-Darmian would be much better than Abate - mds.

People get too sentimental here. Just because mds is a youth product does not make him a better player or more important to the club. You win games with talent, and Marcello has much more.

What it baffles me, it is that people like you have not seen ever Marcelo defending. Marcelo has been raped for years at LB. Heck, I have never seen anybody **** Marcelo so hard like that kid from Rayo Vallecano 2 seasons ago.

Obviously, Marcelo is way more talented than DeS when attacking but with our midfield current problems and our shaky center backs, we cannot expose our defense even more. its good that it baffles you. because you enforce the differentiating factor between; people who can understand logic, and those who cannot; between ppl who know football and between ppl who just watch football; between people who think before they can talk, and people who just bump their gums all day.

Sentiment is not needed to see that De Sciglio is an important player for this club. he is more important than Marcelo can ever be. He is much younger, has a higher ceiling with more potential, first-team ready, low wages, plays in Italy with more tactical awareness than Spain, especially in defense. These things can then also be extended to Darmian. He is our future, and Marcelo is just the past. Same with kaka'.

kaka' is our past and should leave. but that's a different story. Given that De Sciglio, like Darmian, are youth products, you can then introduce sentiments. But I think I've proven my point and need not explain any further lest, I only confuse your mind even more.

TL;DR

MDS + Darmian >> Marcelo + Darmian.

I don't want to sell DS cause i believe he can be just as good if not better and he is a fairy tail story in the making..but if we get an offer like Marcelo + 20 millions we should take it.

based on the matches i see from la liga, I dont believe that first line; that's why psg(yea its ligue 1) took silva and marquinhos for e.g. and why else is Real looking to us for MDS?

and we won't sign another good CD you see. when we sold t. silva, we replaced him with mexes. we've signed alex for free, and cant make up 7 mil euros to sign rami. selling MDS and signing marcelo will only hurt our future.
