He's tall, he's 184cm, and he has way more physical presence than Brahim, no doubt, and he's not shy about working hard, so I think that shouldn't be a concern. He's used to pressing and running.

He's a good player, even if we had a real CAM, at the level of Leao for example, it'd be great to have someone like him in our squad. He can play multiple roles.

As far as what his ceiling is? I don't think he has that much more room to grow as a player, unless he really shines by playing with a stronger team maybe?

I'd agree, I think he's better than Brahim, and while I don't think he will ever be able to dribble better than Brahim, his passing is vastly superior. Vastly.

Id keep Diaz , all day long. He is a solid player, occasional glimpses of WC qualities, he will certainly improve over time, plus he's a true milianista

Exactly. I always liked Diaz. I like his attitude and mentality. He doesn't sulk. But he needs a big brother like a kessie type player to protect him. We can either play him as a rw or SS vs physical sides that counter attack. Against inter, he should definitely be on the wings or upfront as a ss.

He isnt a scrub. He is a good talent. Unfortunately his size is the issue and not much can be done on that front unless he gets stronger. He will improve imo.

I have seen many short players who are strong as a bull. Maybe a S and C coach should work with the kid. He has skill.

Cdk is a good talent. He needs time to develop. Leao wasn't that great in his first season either. We need to be patient.

It was a good win. My take is that Samp tried sitting deep and do what others have done to us, but their midfield is really thin and fragile. They have counter-attackers and are not robust enough.
We took advantage of this and made some of our chances count.

No idea about the subs though. He really hates the curly-headed fuck.

Re Diaz, he played well and contributed but the context is that he had more time and space against and unsuccessful low block tactic. He still looked totally lost when in possession and trying to decide where to pass to, as if it was not trained or directed and totally not a familiar situation to be in - at the tail end of the season!!
