Baldanzi would be good as he can play AM and also cover LW...leao needs a rest from time to time

As a player he reminds me a lot of Eden Hazard

Are we sure that Baldanzi will score more than 7 goals and 6 assists next year? He is 20 years old but he'll cost around 15 20 million just like Diaz

does this mean we get the handsome avy back?
The fake compliments.. you don’t mean that :head:
But it will be back for our last match.
Its seems like it works, so far 2 wins

I don’t know what is moving me more..
The fact that leao likes milan enough to stay
Or the fact that we are not going to lose a valuable player for free anymore

look at our kit: sponsors on left hand, bottom back, and front side. we are the only serie A team with these much sponsors on the kit.
for sure we have so much money to spent from these sponsors, innit ?

... and it worked out real well for Chelsea and Barca last year.
Barca won the league.

I'm guessing the delay was caused by a new kit reveal?

Having Rafa debut the kit at his contract signing seems like a nice marketing push
This is probably the real reason.

Excellent the deal is finally official and moreso that it's confirmed to be the same as it was reported weeks ago.

This was the deal they had to get done more than any other as Rafa could've legitimately pushed for highest paid in the league and obviously management may have been hesitant as he wasn't always consistent but it worked out in the best possible way.

As I said then when the report came out initially - hats off to all.

Kamada better bring us Sony or Mitsubishi military industries as sponser.
No need for another Toyo Tires like what Honda delivered.

Lazar Samardžić is around the same age as Baldanzi with 5 goals and 4 assists and isn't a midget either....
He's good too but I prefer Baldanzi who's Dybala's heir and has a very atypical playing style for a modern day Italian i.e. speed of thought + execution, strong dribbling in tight spaces etc. Also, the fact that he's Italian and Milanista too is an added bonus.

Maldini and Co are doing some amazing work with a limited budget. I might not agree with Pioli's tactics but given the shoestring budget we are working with, it's easy to forget we were once dealing with the likes of Taiwo...

Feels like we are starting to feel like a properly run club again. It's been a while.

I'm italian, born and raised in Milano but we lost the talent, i don't know how it happened but italian players are so mediocres. Look at top of the table teams, apart from Barella and Tonali i don't see any italian making the difference
A fellow Milanese :-) Used to live in Zona Tortona (before it became fashionable). I moved to the US ages ago, but I still have family there (my brother) and (until recently) I used to manage an engineering group (the office was near the Ippodromo, and I used to stay at the B&B across from San Siro). Last time I was in Milano was about a year ago (work + vacation with part of my family).

have watched him a few times and never seen him dribble like Hazard.
He is so similar to Brahim, it is weird to me that someone can bemoan Brahim and want him instead.

Baldanzi would probably go through the same growing pains. The only way Baldanzi avoids that is if he makes passing his obsession. He's a dribbler and a shooter. I think he has less dribbling skill than Brahim at his age, but a stronger shot. Neither have shown passing as central aspects of their game.

Hazard was a strong, fast, direct player, who yes, did dribble, but the guy also could pass--even when he was young.

This new generation of players are insanely skilled... in 5-a-side skills, yet lack such basic fundamentals in passing, marking, and finishing. It's wild to me.

They will, don't worry. They did it with Theo, and Bennacer, and they will continue to do so.

They're consistent, that's why they are such big Pioli supporters now.
I suspect a shift of plot from “Maldini can’t renew” to “Maldini can’t sell”.

I mean there’s not much to hate on anymore - and all indications suggest he knows escargot what needs to be done to the squad
