Without a stadium this point is moot.
Sorry
We need our own stadium. Missing out on like 200 mil every year cause we don't own one.

Milan revenue is around 350 ml. The stadium maybe adds 100 mil every year to that. Real's revenue is around 750-800 mil. The stadium only takes Milan from 350 to 450 mil. Where does the other 350 mil come from? Real sponsorship revenues are much, much higher. Sponsors pay the really big amounts for teams with players like CR7, Benzema, Modric.... A team with players like Saladmaker, Messias, Vranckx, Origi is not going to make the some money from sponsors.

I would be fine with Berardi, maybe a bit underwhelmed. I think he is a player who would help us in Serie A but hes nothing to cry about.

Would not move a needle in the long run.

Every Milan fan here hates the name Meazza and not only that, the square in front of the stadium is called Piazzale dello Sport Angelo Moratti and the other squadre behind the Curva Sud has a garden and the garden is called Helenio Herrera, we are under represented still the majority of the city and the suburb support for Milan
Milan fans in 2018 could not stand this anymore and so on their own changed the name of Piazza Axum in Piazza Nereo Rocco but is not official

That’s not a realistic alternative considering he just bought the club for 1.2 billion and was brought for the stadium which he must do to gain more returns.

If you’re angry at someone for Maldini. Be angry at Furlaini, be angry at Moncada, be angry at Scaroni, be angry at Pioli even.

The guy had the most influence in his sacking is 100% Furlaini who is an Elliot guy btw
They will all taste justice for their great sin when maldini returns from exile.

Fuck Gerry, Fuck RedTurd, Fuck Milan, Forza Maldini ❤️ 🖤 ❤️ 🖤
Scaroni is the most useless president in the history of sports, has no real authority and his only job is to work on a new stadium. Now he doesn't even do that as he said RedBird has vast experience in stadium building and so they're in charge of the project. Scaroni is basically the mouth piece of ownership and says whatever he's told to say. One day he praises Maldini for the great job he's doing and the next he agrees with Gerry that Paolo has to go and we'll be better off without him.
The other snake is Pioli who in every interview spoke of the unity and cooperation with ownership and management, how Maldini backs him completely while in reality they probably couldn't stand one another. We're now a snake pit where only yes men survive and no dissent is tolerated. One big happy family.

My big hope now is that they make it clear to him that his number one priority is developing talent and being more forgiving. That’s something Moncada was very vocal about, how he’s very critical of Italian teams and their lack of trust in young players. Pioli has to change, adapt or die.

Number one priority for a big club should be the results. If Milan top 2 in Serie A and gets to CL QF then Pioli is going nowhere. If he plays all the young talents every match but finishes 7th in the league he is going to be gone.

But its Gerry who is on the throne, not Maldini.
To what history does Gerry have to receive rightful claim to the title of king? His claims are unpressed, his claim is greed for himself. Nothing more.

Well yea they have more marketable players. Barca and real operate on high risk lbo models. They borrow heavily. It's all leveraged. However they invest in quality players who are also marketable and reap the benefits.

BTW you are underestimating how much a stadium revenue can add to our overall income.

200 mil easy with the amount of fans that attend our games.
Not to mention we can lease some of our space to other food /retail outlets etc which generates substantial revenue given the location of san siro.

we didn't regress when we lost Hakan, we won the scudetto

Calling hakan a pillar of the team is disgusting
Hakan was miles better of anything Maldini brought.

My captain is Paolo not Baresi!

Supporters to show up? To fill SS 70 000 for 18 rounds so that Cardinale can pay off HIS debit and after selling the club make HIMSELF MORE MONEY. While investing 35mln in mercato after CL 1/2 and CL spot.

Wtf Milan fans are not morons.

100% I hate saying this but people keep making me praise him. He is a good player and he fit our system. Too bad he is a cunt. Just like kessie. Both are very good players.

As of today whoever speaks against the King and on the behalf of the exiled, he is speaking against the great red and black Kingdom of Lombardia.

I meant the increase in revenue from a new stadium over the current stadium. Milan isn't making 0 from San Siro. They made 10 mil just from one CL game. So over the year they could have made 100 mil or more from the San Siro. A new stadium, I think would add another 100-120 mil to that. But I may be wrong.

Do you think it could increase by 200 mil? As in last year's revenue would be over 300 mil with a new stadium?

Nha man. We pay rent for the stadium and share it with printer. It's not the same. I mean having our own stadium would add 200 mil overall rather than the 100 odd we would be getting now I believe.

Exactly. It's not just the stadium. It's the spots we own. We can lease spaces for other retail/foot outlets and generate more revenue.

This is spot on.

I remember all those past mercati where negotiations usually went down like: "We like your player, that's our valuation, take it or leave it, we have a whole database driven list of other targets to persue. You don't accept our offer? OK thx bye."

I remember how this became kind of a meme because Maldini and Massara were notoriously lowballing every club :-) We laughed about it but we also compared it to Leonardo just throwing >30M on Piatek or Paqueta and how much different, but better, we've become since those days.

I almost forgot how the hunt for CDK back then was so out of character for Maldini and for everything the Maldini-Massara-Gazidis trio did and how we all discussed how strange that was... Now that you're saying it, it all comes back.
Not only he did all the above , he did it for a flop.

So basically the new stadium adds another 100 mil in revenue to the current revenue then ( 200 mil from new stadium instead of 100 mil from San Siro )? I think Milan pay around 10 mil in rent for the San SIro. So that's what I was saying, that just a stadium doesn't get you to the level of Real. It just adds another 100 mil to the revenue. While Real is around at around 400-450 mil more in revenue.

Baresi is the truest Milanista that ever was. He chooses his words carefully not to offend ownership but he's usually spot on.

Many clubs have that. A set of shops, cafes, even a hotel as part of the stadium area. Still most of the revenue comes from the stadium itself, especially expensive corporate seats and VIP boxes. The stuff surrounding the stadium, I think is just a few million extra.
