So Inter made a shit ton of money from this CL run about 20m more than we did. It still doesn't really put much of a dent on their overall debt or the payment to Oaktree coming up in less than a year (they need to repay around 350m euros). They can find a way to delay with higher interest, but that's kicking the can down the road and making their exit (Suning) even harder than it already is. They can sell some players to raise cash to help pay it back, but they probably won't have enough. They're losing some important pieces already and need to buy or get some freebies to rebuild the squad. They're stuck at San Siro and it looks likely we're getting their first option which was San Donato. They're losing around 100m a year and even with this CL run they will still end up with more than a 50m loss.

It seems really likely to me that Oaktree will probably take over next summer. Who knows what happens then, they might just flip the club to the highest bidder. Nobody will touch Inter now because they don't want to pay Suning anything above the debts of the club. Everyone is just waiting for them to finally give up and pass the team on to Oaktree. The longer this lasts the better for us, as if they can keep hold of the club it means they'll have to keep selling pieces and stretching the budget buying time. They'll never get a full revolution that's needed for them to rebuild. With Juve out of the picture (hopefully) and Napoli disassembling, we're primed to retake the title next year.

Personally I would go Dzeko on low wages for our second/third striker, sharing minutes with Giroud behind our starter striker. He was also a Milan fan as a child, so seeing him wearing that ugly shirt is sad. Would also go for Darmian, homegrown, good for the lists, and can be backup for lb and rb. Certainly a better player than FBT, and less expensive and less injury prone than Florenzi.

Other than that, I wouldn't touch any of their players. Not that I think that a Barella or a Lautaro wouldn't be an upgrade for us, but I just can't stand them.

Of those that are in the Maybe pile, I think only half will go. We'll loan Adli, keep CDK, sell one of Messias/Saelemaekers, one of Rebic/Origi and might keep Mirante and might even keep FBT if we're not squeezed with the list.

That leaves us with a squad that's around 20 players. With Sportielli that's 21.

We will probably start the season with a squad of 26 players, so 5 coming in seems reasonable. We need an AM, a CM, a RW and a CF and replacement for Origi/Rebic as a LW/CF.

The names so far are Kamada, Chukwuemeka (he was born in Austria), Chukwueze (maybe spanish passport?), Thuram/Scamacca and Okafor.

If that ends up being the window I'd be very happy.

You get those for the primavera or to be squad players like how we got Kalulu. With time they'll take over. We are revamping the youth sector apparently so we should be seeing a lot more action there. You want Haaland from Molde, not from Salzburg. At that point he's already a known entity.

So how will they keep that 1b+ (and increasing) debt in the closet while they party in the now? How will they pay back the 350m loan that's due next summer while living in the now. That's the whole point of spending like crazy to win, you end up having to eventually face the music. You can't keep partying all the time.

we missed them to the likes PSG, Barca, etc.. who is currently more prolific teams with much better salary , or due to the owner being cheap to pay the price so we stall the negotiations and lost to oil club like New castle like Botman, but losing a free player with almost same salary Cap to nobody club like aston villa that is a new low that we need to get used to.
