So, if no one in the management is getting the boot, it will pretty much confirm that they could not stand staying behind Maldini’s shadow.

By the same logic, you would have at least one of the 3 idiots fired. They share the same vision? The money ball that has proven to be an outright failure so this does not justify keeping them. The same vision and mission to erase everything Milan stands for.

It just confirms that Gerry and the management are cowards, and probably Furlani was the one who was influential in Maldini’s dismissal as his ego couldn’t accept being dwarfed by Maldini, figuratively and literally.

We need all of them gone, make them go broke, we just need to unite and hopefully all of them get out.

Give any other coach this Napoli squad and they won’t come even close to the league title.

You are really overstimating this squad quality. This Napoli doesn’t even have Kvara and Osimhen.

I do think the last 2 matches from Napoli have been inexcusable but the fact that they’re in this position is a feat itself.

But they had Kvara for six months. And Conte had a full preseason with Osimhen, only to decide he’d rather rely on Lukaku. They brought in McTominay, who’s had the season of his life – a massively underrated player who just got buried in United’s mess. And they signed Buongiorno to finally replace Kim, who left two years ago.

For me, this Napoli squad is very much on par with the one that steamrolled Serie A two years ago and made a deep Champions League run. Fine I'll give you it's a debatable stance but we're talking nuances here.

Conte delivered what you'd expect from a team with this level of quality and such a light schedule. Credit for that – but this isn’t some miracle run. This isn’t an overachievement. They haven’t even cracked the 80-point mark with one game left. When was the last time someone won Serie A with fewer than 80 points?

It's been a decent season for Napoli with lots of underachievers around them making things look even better for them. Fuck until yesterday even we still had the mathematical chance to qualify for CL after a shitter of a season

Let's not forget they spent 200m, had Kvara half of the season and Osimhen isn't really that special. I'd say he's on the same level as Lukaku. It's not like their squad is equal to Bologna or Fiorentina ffs people really need to stop overrating that whiny little cunt Conte

[Longo] Milan, at the moment no manager is at risk. Not even Kirovski who lbrahimovic wants to confirm. Situation evolving, but this is what is leaking out today from the Rossoneri club

This is not a 0 sum game ... we could also just kick everyone out along with Maldini and Boban.

This either ... or is selling our options short.

Personally I would keep Furlani if he sticks to finance, but if he is in the way of a better structure (and Elliott cooperates) he can go as well.

I thought about who we should keep because too many changes might be counterproductive, and we would have to start from scratch. Of the "bigs" I would sell Theo and Maignan and overall, I would retain Sportiello, Jimenez, Gabbia, Fofana, Rijnders, Pulisic, Gimenez, Jovic and Leao. Except for the back-up keeper that makes it 6 starters or possibly 7 if one includes Jimenez.

Get Salad, Adli, and maybe Pobega back while not renewing Florenzi Walker, Felix, Sottil, and Abraham and selling Maignan, Theo, Emerson, Tomori, Thiaw, (not sure about Pavlovic), Musah, RLC, Terracciano, and Chuck.
We would need a LB, up 2/3 CBs, LW back-up, 3rd striker, at list 2 mids or more, and some young prospect. It would nice if one of our youth products would make a huge leap and make the big club.

Company is in a crisis. Let us have daily zoom meetings guys. We need to bring in an SD asap, oh shit.

Meanwhile Liverpool has officially replaced Andy Robertson with Kerkez, and TAA with Frimpong. Calum Scanlon (20) and Conor Bradley (22) are the deputies and will compete for a starting positions. So clean, so professional.

Done. Enjoy your summer boys. See you all in early August.

Didn’t Maldini sign half of the bums on this squad with highest pay? He finished out of cl without pioli and hired giampaolo.

Lost ton of money in free agent in Kessie, Donna, hakan etc.

He fights with everybody  curva, galliani, Gazidis, Gerry.

Great player but instead of guiding Milan while checking his ego acts like a brat every single time now dumb ibra is in his role. He was a good assistant sporting director when Gazidis was his boss.

He can go back to studio and bitch about club like he did from 2010 to 2015.

Get ready for pre Berlusconi era, I hope I witness 3rd serie b this decade before a rich patron buys again.

Good luck deers much love.

I hope new kit is a banger like it’s 1982 or something.
Facts speak for themselves, we were in banter era for 10 years and when Maldini came back he won us a scudetto and got us CL year year in year out, with even a semi final.
And even more impressive is his work on the financial part, from a club almost in bankruptcy to a financial healty club with positive numbers.
So you can list all of his failures but these are facts.
And also a fact is that he is now gone again and we are going to finish 9th with no european football and red numbers again…
There is a big risk we are going back to banter era again for many years… things look bad.
In the last 15 years things only looked bright when Maldini was here! Like it or not

I think prior to the season start nobody predicted Napoli to be champions, it was all Juve and Inter while Napoli was supposed to fight with Atalanta and Milan for a place in CL. They were rolling for a while, have led the league since January but the lack of bench depth hurt them a lot, especially Buongiorno that has been out a lot and now even Jesus, his back-up in addition to Lobotka.

As expected, Okafor provided zero help and is now buried on the bench. Conte had to improvise moving Di Lorenzo and Olivera to center backs, among other changes. To me the best players have been McTominay and Anguissa, someone that I would love at Milan but have no doubt that Conte has done a great job with what he has.

In all fairness I don´t think McTominay would have been popular as a transfer among Milan fans without hindsight.

Ranieri said that Milan have the best players in Serie A but our problem is that these players don't always play like a team, but when they did not even Inter could beat us

Well, Ranieri is a true gentleman. Has always been. Kudos to him. He turned a relegation battling Roma within a couple of weeks and now they might even get CL, who knows.

Squad construction takes more than scouting individual players and bringing them in.

Moncada's job stops at scouting and recommending ideas to the SD. It stops there. He is not yet capable of building a squad. And with the lack of a proper mentor, he is going nowhere. Promoting him to SD will surely tank the club's value further, so yeah the club goes down lower while he is going nowhere.

Leao apparently really wants to join Barcelona
Can't see him displacing Raphina or worse Yamal. Although stranger things have happened

Maybe we can sell him for €50m, reinforce and then get him back for €20 in 2027 🤔

Not a good look when Leao, Theo, Pulisic and Reijndeers all want to leave

There won't be a Christmas break next season. Serie A will play on 20-21 December, on 27-28 and then on January 3-4. If Inter hopefully will lose against PSG, Supercoppa will be played in December too

Yeah I mean would we have collapsed the way we did with Conte on the sidelines? Probably not. He delivers – no doubt about it. I’ve said that multiple times, tho.

But does he overachieve? Not really. He didn't achieve half of what Simone is currently doing with Inter for example despite having a much better and expensive squad back then. I keep seeing all this praise as if Napoli was supposed to battle for relegation (which is crazy), but I’ve said since the start of the season that Napoli would be in the Scudetto race with all the money they spent last summer.

I don’t get why people are acting surprised now. But even then Napoli isn’t even miles ahead of the pack. They could lose this weekend and still win the title with fewer than 80 points. Has that ever happened in a 38-game Serie A season? I don't think so. Props to Conte for maximizing his squads potential tho. We could use some of that, NGL.

Does anyone know if inter has a B team for next season and competes in serie C, does the rule mean that Futuro will never be able to get promoted to Serie C unless one of the three B teams(Juve,Atlanta &inter) are either relegated or promoted?
Whatever, Milan Futuro is serie D level anyway
