RLC if he's not scoring is frustrating. He slows the game down when the team is on the break (helping our opponents), he dribbles into alleys, and doesn't pass the ball when he should.

Few deny RLC's talent, he has all the tools to be an insane player.

But we talk about him the same way you'd talk about a youth player with potential. He's 29.

His lack of defensive contribution, in particular his lazy tracking/marking in corners, set pieces, and crosses is hardly covered--he was at fault for PSG's goal in his supposed super performance in that game.

If he scores 15 goals, that would be great, but he seems insistent on not learning how to pass, connect play, or track--things that are kinda important for a midfielder.
Couldn’t agree more

Honest question: if an MLS club buys someone from Brazil, do they need to pay 50% of transfer fee as tariffs?

If we strip away everything else isn’t it just a same of goods from one company to another with a commercial invoice?

Was RLCs performance against PSG the best individual performance post banter era by a player not named Theo or Leao?

Crazy he cant be consistent. We need 70% of that RLC and we good
Bennacer Atletico comes to mind.

Donna
Barella somewhat. System player though
Bastoni
Orsolini
Buonguorno

Kean yes
Calafiori would be the first to make it to the hospital
Bastoni yes
Barella yes
Cambiasso is rubbish
Tonali yes
Retegui pure system player. No
Donna yes

5 starters yes. Could have had all for cheap but Cocklani? Ibra? Mondonkey?
Calafiori played the most of the game season, Kean no too mess in his style of playing.

Really? Who apart from geriatric washed up modric?
Ricci, Jashari even Fofana to some degree.

While in the reactive roles we have RLC and Rabiot and Fofana who isn't even that good at going forward and type wise somewhere on the spectrum.

This is a simplification of course, Rabiot and Modric are relatively complete players, you can replace playmaker by passing forward player if it is more inclusive.

Played very offensively, sort of 4-2-4 with Politano and Zaccagni outside and Kean and Retegui in the middle. The two combined pretty well, Retegui 2 goals and a fantastic back heel assist and Kean on a header looking big and strong.

Estonia is very week but managed to keep a 0-0 score at the half thanks to blown chances and some superb saves by the keeper. We scored 5 in the second half that completely dominated.

We had two LCB, Bastoni and Calafiori who was more on offense than defense, the subs were great and Tonali was all over the pitch. Raspadori, Orsolini, and Cambiaso were very good off the bench, (I think Cambiaso will replace Di Marco soon), Locatellli the only sub that was poor, missed a ton of passes, while Pio Esposito in a few minutes came close to scoring.

I think our striker problem is solved with Kean and Retegui, (man of the match along with Tonali). Barella was so-so, Zaccagni very good, (was ignored by Spalletti), Politano great work rate as usual, Dollar made one great save which was the only shot we gave up.

Watching Cambiaso I understand why Milan wanted him and why he's so expensive. Plays with both feet, solid defender, decent speed, and accurate crosser. So, Italy does have some talent: Dollar, Bastoni, Calafiori, Cambiaso, Barella, Tonali, Kean, Retegui, Zaccagni, in addition to others that didn't play like Vicario, Buongiorno, Scalvini, Rovella off the top of my head.
Combiaso hired for 7M€ VS 15M€ Royal

Cant add more, I widely appreciate a Midfielder able to make defensive contributions and or involving in the buildup by doing the right drribling and passing in the nick of the time, instead of the one just shining by scoring once in a while an easy goal through a break into the box area.

I don’t think any of them are proper CaM type players but yea they are ball playing mids.

Our midfield is very strong though. Which is why I am confident we might finish top 2
Or win the title

We just need Vlahovic in Jan
And one more CB

AC Milan got a saint

-----------

Carlo Acutis wore sneakers and jeans, relaxed with his PlayStation, craved Nutella, and loved soccer. On Sunday, the Italian teenager will become the Catholic Church’s first saint from the internet generation.

Carlo, a self-taught computer whiz whose devotion to his faith was unusual for his age, died of leukemia in 2006 at just 15.

To friends and classmates, he was a well-liked fan of the AC Milan soccer team who would sometimes vanish for hours at a time to write computer code.

I don't know if it is official/standardized yet but he is usually pictured with a laptop as his attribute, which I think is really cool. He Is pretty popular, I spotted his picture in churches in several countries.
Didn't know that he was a Milan fan.

Hey now, I was actually a positivitist during the Pioli years(which was also the only years where it was rational to be positive):o

2 things i remember about Piolis reign. Those mini Invincible runs we went on. Around 20 games each time

And we almost broke the record for scoring 2 or more goals for almost 20 games iirc.

It was like Milan of the 90s lol 😆
