Ibra is a pathetic mercenary who used the club to jumpstart his post-playing career, so vain that he took the scudetto onto himself with the 'Italy is milan' viral clip (guy knows his clickbait, I'll give him that)

The fact that the club celebrated his retirement with a full San Siro is pure 2nd hand embarrassment, and even during the live feed where posters here cried, that shit was pure cringe.

So glad he was enrolled into management and contributed to the instability and cesspit of this ownership with calling up players to revolt against Allegri. Such a humble servant with no self-interests.

His qualities revolve only on being a clutch scorer and athletic compared to his size. At his best no one could've touched him, but all he has to show for it is local titles with no CL and no achievement with Sweden, which was healed after he left (guy refused to show up at Sweden's opening match in this WC, lol).

Will be remember as a glorified Cassano.
A bit harsh, but I cannot disagree. I had Ibra on my "favorite players list", just dumped him. I loved him as a player, was very disappointed when we shipped him to PSG, was happy to see him return and help us win XIX. Self-centered but in a humorous way. That said, his recent "contributions" to the s**t show have soured my opinion on him, and not showing up today put me over the edge.

I can't believe you guys are debating who came to the funeral and who didn't.

First of all, who tf cares? They either want to go or they don't (or can't).

Second, if you think it's disrespectful of the club, then let me inform you that this club lost all respect a long time ago. It's a shit club with shit players and shit management. The way they play and embarrass the club every week should have been ur first clue. What respect?

I think having 500 caps in official matches is a fair point where we draw the line. 40 matches/szn x 12 szns (480). 12 szns is prolly the average length of a footballers career in top flight football.

Anyone who gets 500 deserves a statue

Do y’all agree?

Baresi also played 2 seasons in Serie B while others jumped ship. To be honest so did Maldera, (our top goal scoring LB in history), Collovati, Battistini, and Evani that won that league in 80/81.

The first time we got demoted for a match-fixing scandal, the second because we succked and the owner was too poor to get good players.

Agree, but with Seweden he was a leader, remember his game and astonish goal vs the Great Spain in 2008 he humiliated Ramos and Puyol, allow his team to lead by 1-0, then as soon as he got injured la Roja won 3-1.

I hope he will be replaced by a true Milanista in this advisor and influencer role with Gerry.

So the one sale they actually managed to do (Estupinan) is now going to fall yhrough brcause our genius of a manager wanted more time to evaluate the dude?

Lol
isn't it obvious that he knows no replacement will arrive and in that case it's better to keep him as an option.

Though I understood very little of what they said the visuals as well as the special effects were grand. I don't think/remember if they used close captions in those days but if they do now I would watch it again.

Lol

It was only rumoured to be nearly finished and after a few days of 'next week' that died down and we are now hearing about evaluation.

Management hasn't even been able to get any of the loaned players from last season picked up.
Not sure we can blame the coach for just dealing with what is given.

trying to figure out what they are saying is part of the fun. its not that hard though, its like reading shakespear though helps to know a little russian. im sure theres close captions now. the book is also a real horrorshow. its by no means a comfortable film, but excels in making the viewer uncomfortable. its a masterpiece, though which kubrick film isnt? barry lyndon is probably my favorite.

For a funeral? That would be even more disrespectful imo.

And there's no appearance to keep up, this club is in total shambles.

Regarding Ibra not being there I'm even happy. He doesn't belong there.

Probably all of the players they’ve been replaced with being shittier and us falling out of the Champions League and relevance is all.
But Tiji was here as a protagonist in the season we finished 8th, no? :taphead:

It's official: Brookfield acquires Inter from Oaktree. They didn't hang around long, wish RedBird did the same. After looking them up Brookfield is a publicly traded Canadian multinational company owned by global investors active in a variety of fields.

It remains to be seen if they will spend a lot on transfers or if they replicate the RedBird model. Marotta is set to retire soon so we'll see if it's good or bad regarding the play on the pitch in the near future. Strange that they didn't wait until the building of a new stadium begins.

Mate, you need to fire your information broker.

Brookfield acquired OAKTREE, Merda is just part of the package. Nothing is changing for them. Marotta is still there for the long haul if he wants.

Highly doubt anything will change for them financially or structurally either, just one investment firm buying out another investment firm. They're not getting some fresh injection of money.

Why do any of these North American companies all the sudden care about owning a football club? (Especially Italian).

It's a terrible business to be in financially with obsolete business models

Indeed top guy. Improved tremendously in second season. Respected the colors, extended the contract with his trade mark smile. Respect and love.

Fleeced mancity and got that bag like champion and locked down his newborn’s future without fucking us over like other leeches.

Lol if he listened to mangled brains here and held off for 80 million everybody would have been fucked.

He is very welcome here once he is ready to retire and guide us to another 8th position with grace.
From #8 to 8th

Let's get Lukaku's mom on the horn so she could resurrect Presidente
