I'd prefer someone younger with quality that'll grow with the team without the ego of being already at the top and acting as though he's bigger than all else but no doubt there's none close to his level in serie A at the moment

I cannot be objective when watching Bruno because 3 things about him annoy me.

1) his playstyle (spamming glory passes, getting in the way of teammates destroying cohesive team football)

2) lack of athleticism and key technical attributes neeed to play as a 10 (pipsqueek of an athlete without the dribbling and ball carrying ability needed to play the role he wants to play)

3) on field moaning attitude to both teammates and refs.

He basically has to vacate the 10 space and spam glory passes to the detriment of his team in order to stat pad his assist tally.

He is close to the archetype of the type of player we should sign for the right sided AM role but he is too flawed to be a contributing player to a ochesive championship winning team. He's a Europa Level player at best. Perfect archetype for us imo would be a De Bruyne.

Now I hope to God we don't sign him.

Taking United's captain is a fairly big deal but I agree, it doesn't move the needle for me personally that much. I could see how the footballing community could see it as a big deal. I would hope for something better though

I'm not sure, it feels like we're hunting the players we want, not dictated by other clubs' offering.
