Our management has a fetish for center-backs under 185 cm, or alternatively for those 190+ cm who can't even mark a traffic cone
Man inancio is too small. But then Marquinhos is like a stick figure and he did do well in Roma and now has been a. Top cb for years with psg

So who knows hey?

But ideally I don’t want inancio. And I am not liking Gabriel either. Someone else please.

Because footballers aren't slaves, and if Nkunku strongly prefers a move to RB Leipzig, we can't just ship him off to Newcastle against his will. I'm pretty sure that if there had been a realistic opportunity to move him permanently instead of settling for a loan, we would've taken it.
Correct. We are the dumbasses to buy him. As in our despicable Quattro earlier.

He has every right to run down his contract. But is that really worth it for him? We know gets paid a lot but you are in your fucking prime. Surely he must have some
Ambition at the top level.

After seeing approximately two hours of youtube-videos explaining Amorim, his style, personality, and what happened at Manchester United - I'm starting to get an idea of why we almost only hear about Cardinale & Amorim, when it comes to transfers. At United, alot of people within the organisation wanted to have a say in/discuss all the transfers, which sometimes resulted in different buys, than Amorim wanted. I think Cardinale is skipping all the "middle-men", and saying "who do you want? Then I'll get them". Trying to eliminate of the issues that went wrong at Manchester (and at Milan with Tare, Allegri etc.). He's trying to let him cook and do his thing, believing in his qualities as a manager.
I'm still skeptical about several things, such as his way of seeing players and where they should play - and being a bit stubborn about it. His tactics and formation > the players and their abilities.
And if things ain't working, is he going to speak about it publicly, as he did in United (given, United was clown-show). But Milan is a classy club, and we don't want that public drama here.
Hopefully the trust and support will get us the best version of Amorim (the kind that demolished Man City 4-1 with Sporting + two league titles).

Players are just not budging.
Its really a surprise that we got three starters despite that fact.
At the moment i would accept loan + option for all the unwanted players.
Leao, Nkunku, Fofana, Ricci, Tomo, Santi, Estu need to go.
Better bet they restart their career & either stay there or come back with a good season under their belt.

Thats good if true for the incoming players but our issue is that there seems no one who know how to sell.

Hopefully Villa and Newcastle get trashed today and accelerate for unwanted Milan players.

I mean players produced by our academy. Donnarumma counts.
We didn't get rid of him though.
We didn't even get rid of Locatelli.

Some called them snakes for a reason.

This notion that we let a host of class players leave from youth level / early career is a fallacy.

A few became solid players but most have just disappeared.

The reality is that we put ourselves in an impossible position the second Amorim decided he wanted him out and the club acted immediately. Our hands were tied, really. Once we exiled him, every club knew we wanted to get rid and our negotiating position got weakened. And it certainly doesn't help when he's set on joining only one club who are unable to offer anything close to a number that would help us recoup some of the money we paid.

What really drives me mad, however, is the fact that Chelsea were in the same position with Nkunku last summer, but they somehow got 40m for him. Why didn’t we sign him on a loan with an option to buy when Chelsea were desperate to move him on? He was completely out of their squad and available on terms that carried virtually no risk - IF we had pushed for it. We’d not only be €40m better off today, but we wouldn’t still be trying to sort out this situation late in the transfer window. And above all else, I wouldn’t be sitting here on a fine Sunday morning frustrated writing this.

I genuinely want to know which idiot signed off on that decision. I thought it was a horrible idea at the time, because it was foolish to get a player on a downward curve on a flat-out 40m transfer. When he arrived here, he was well out of form and even had to lose a few kilos before he could play more than a half. Seriously, which idiot signed off on that? Names please.

I don't think Chelsea were particularly smart here – I think we were particularly stupid, especially when it comes to those wages. Everyone focuses on the transfer fee and, while the 37M + bonuses were certainly high, I can at least understand the reasoning behind it. Nkunku had been challenging for the Ballon d'Or conversation just two years earlier and that's why Chelsea paid 60M, so if he had rediscovered even some of that Leipzig form, you could've genuinely called it a market opportunity. But that entire "opportunity" angle collapses the second you pair that fee with those wages (more than 10M gross!!!!!!!!!). Nkunku is one of the highest-paid players in the whole fucking league! That basically eliminates your escape route if the gamble doesn't work because suddenly you have an underperforming player who's almost impossible to sell – which is exactly what happened.

And the irony is fucking beautiful: now he's apparently going back to RB Leipzig of all places to rediscover that form. If he does, fantastic for them. If he doesn't, they send him back to us. It's an almost risk-free gamble from their perspective, depending of course on how they've structured his wages this season and what he'd earn if they actually redeem him. I seriously doubt Leipzig are giving him anything close to what he's earning here. For us, though, the priority right now was getting those absurd 11.5M gross wages off the books and apparently we've managed that, so fair play – that's good work. The bad work wasn't failing to sell him permanently now. The bad work was buying him in the first place not just for that fee, but on those fucking wages. Financially, that remains so bafflingly, outrageously and incredibly irresponsible that nobody – not even God – will ever convince me Furlani was the main driving force behind that operation. Never.

Meanwhile, Turkish club offered cash for the rapper while Cuckunku will be our new signing coming back from loan next summer. :LeaoP:

That's the more optimistic read. Some say they haven't even submitted an official offer yet, just verbal ones, which means fuck all.

he’s flat out garbage and should be dumped to futuro like adli asap

at least RLC has a goal in him here and there but musah is simply a net negative. zero contribution, just braindead running
So contrarian of you...

But seriously, neither should be here at this stage, but at least Musah could reach a higher ceiling... RLC has always and always be a bench warmer at best, 2/3 games a year. The rest if the time he looks like a lost puppy at a pick up game.

As I say, a year understudying Salad, while having Modric father him some, and you could develop him.

But no one's dying on a Musah hill, while many are chugging copium and hopium over RLC lol... Why is he so excused and defended? Because that 1 game against PSG???

Musah is such a non-entity, while we have guys costing us £8 million a year, ghosting us in most competitive games... But yeah, Musah Bhad!!!

City just threw 100M on a 18 years old kid:

Serie A would send him on loan to a Serie B club to get some minutes.

You recommended him almost 3 years ago iirc bro, I remember saying to myself wtf who is this kid
2024. When he played for Lille.

Super talent but I don’t know if he would be a hit right away in epl. Learning curve for sure. But yea bright future.

Yea but management never bought him the players he asked for outside of Rabiot.
Milan and Max had more than enough to reach top 4

It's difficult to achieve a goal when fucking nobody is invested in it. Max, the players and management all let us down. No pride for the colours
