if im not mistaken, i thought abate originated at the RW or right midfielder playing with Empoli and Torino, before coming to us..in which he played a few times in that position, as mentioned, and then Leo. switching him to RB..

was phenomenal..just wish he played like that EVERY game..i was pumped up like he was when he was coming thru in the clutch..

hell, abate keeps it up and flamini could find his way back to RB like he was used for several matches a few seasons ago..he actually wasnt that bad to be honest and has the engine to run up and down the field..

i was thinking the same thing my friend..i have always been a supporter for abate to get called up for NT, but after that and matches previous, his speed ain't going to get him far..

abate for sure from the first minute against barca in the return leg..having boner over at LB for most of the match, before antonini took over, was solid, but having what abate can do on that left side, will be crucial in advancing past the midget army..very happy hes back.
