Good thing is we will have runners all across the pitch willing to press and track. I’m a bit surprised Samu over Diaz, Samu will bring some good things but I think Diaz is more likely to score from false 9(tbh neither really will, they are both so small). I wonder if Krunic could do false 9 and let samu go left? Maybe he wants more size in the midfield for defense and for keeping the ball. Idk.
If we play defensively well we can very much go through. They’re pretty good away from home but they really struggle to score against defensively sound teams and they’ve had a shitload of 0-0 this season. Not out of the question at all. Key will be don’t concede early when they look to score quickly, let the game go on and frustrate them and they will start to run out of ideas. If they score early they’ll drop deep and just pick us on counters.
