Belotti has been consistent in Serie A. But when did we last have a successful Italian striker in our ranks? Inzaghi.

Belloti gives me Pazzini vibes. Serviceable but not special by any means.

When was the last time we had one from Zambia?

I'm preparing myself psychologically for a future without Donnarumma. It isn't as hard as last time.

Marotta: we are the hare running out in front, but the hunters behind us hope to catch up.

Balotelli was also quite good for us overall.
Lapadula and Cutrone too for what they cost us and us making a profit on them.
Destro is the only pure flop imo.

South American strikers have been far worse for us:

Higuain was a flop if compared to the money involved
Bacca was light and shadows with a bad financial outcome
Luiz Adriano a bona fide flop.

Immobile is a miracle because he's Italian? Already in 13/14 he scored 22 goals for Torino. He had a bad spell in bundes and then went back to consistently score a lot again.

"Miracle"

You make it sound like he had 1 season setback, but it's not true, he had only 1 good season, then flopped in next 2 seasons in Bundesliga and La Liga. Dortmund and Sevilla were happy to offload him

Just as Lorenzo Insigne was preparing to take the field with his Napoli at the Allianz Stadium against Juventus, his agent met the management of Milan, as reported by Sky Sport. A "courtesy visit", as the Rossoneri transfer men call it, that of Vincenzo Pisacane at the club headquarters, also useful for getting some information on the blue captain. That he has his contract expiring in a year and, to date, he still doesn't have an agreement to extend it. And, in view of next summer, it can become a market opportunity for many clubs.

RENEWAL BLOCKED-Just at the end of the season, Insigne and his entourage will sit down at a table with President De Laurentiis to understand whether or not there are the conditions to renew. To do this, an important offer will be needed from the point of view of the engagement, a proposal on the 5 million euros per season. To complicate a possible transfer to a direct competitor like Milan would then be the request of Napoli to let his captain leave, but in the meantime Maldini and Massara have taken information on the situation, waiting to understand how the negotiations for other renewals will develop, such as that which involves the Rossoneri and Hakan Calhanoglu.

There there

How many seasons in Serie A has Immobile flopped enough to make his success in Serie A a miracle?

suppose you applied for a job at man city as a chief scout, and you're now having an interview with Mr. Pep Guardiola
Pep: "I need a striker"
you: "Andrea Belotti"

can you imagine how Guardiola will react to that answer?

Don't know your definition of miracle, but for me if someone looks like shit in good teams like Dortmund and Sevilla at his prime (24-25 years old) and then can't stop scroing is a miracle

I don't see why Belotti would be an especially bad choice for City, but as they have deeper pockets they can look elsewhere.

Congratulations on a fucking stupid post.

As PSG is the only viable option for Donna, I don't see why they would drop Navas for him.

That 20M will be useful if we spend it for charity instead of Belotti.

or that 20M might becomes 30M if we spend it on bitcoin.

Ok I'm gonna modify the question a bit, suppose Pep asked you:
"Dude I only have 20M, give me a name"

you would still recommend Belotti ?

No, but the premise is idiotic as we have our set frames of opportunity and City have theirs.

YOU COMPREHEND?

The fact that you guys said yes to Bernadeschi & Belotti convinced me that quality is not important as long the dude is Italian.

George Weah is from Liberia
Dont be that guy - talent can come from remote places

How many years has Belotti been around????
- its why he isnt going to be a sexy pick

Well couple that with a string of average Italian strikers for a generation now.
I would claim that Immobile for all his great stats has stalled because he didnt move further than Lazio and never lit up the international level.

Belotti could be good for us but he is never going to win over most fans until he comes here and scores big goals....then all will love him. Likewise some no-name with a good hype video will enthrall fans until he comes and flops and then we will want him out at the nearest window.

I'm not sure how either will work out but reading fandom is obvious

You can say this until you are blue in the face, people will always come up with scenarios completely disconnected from our financial reality. It happens like every 6 posts.
