After a series of exams and some personal problems, I'm back to the site & forums.
First off, It has been brought to my attention that during my absence, several serious misbehaviours were commited. I'm growing sick of this. From the first time I've made these forums I've commited myself to have a more liberal approach with members and the content they post. Mind you, I've not even made a censorship filter for curses et al. Well, some of the folks posting it are just not getting it. They are repeatedly misbehaving and breaking the rules. One way or another, that has to stop. After the move (see below), I'm going to consult myself with the other admins and take action on a(some) member(s), whether that is a temporary or permanent ban, or a last warning.
Also, we'll be moving all the site, and the forums, most likely tomorrow. It can't be done without closing the forums for a certain period of time - aprox. 48 hours - or more or less depending on how fast the DNS update happens. We're moving to a better server, and later this summer we'll hopefully be switching from the current forum script we're using, phpbb, to vBulletin, the sweetest forum system on the market.
