Can you blame Totti for the referee's mistake when he sent him, or when he did not give him a clear penalty?
Can you blame Totti for the great assists that he made for Vieri which he missed?
Can you blame Totti for the great strike from the free kick against Croatia, which hit the post?

Even if he could not lead Italy to the WC, you can't give him an overrated player!

Also, WC is never a place which shows performance! World Cup is only a dirty place forgetting money and fooling people & countries!

Not a single game from WC would be as good as a Serie A match!

That's why I did not even see a great goal which I can call it as the best goal in WC!

Definitely Totti and Ronaldo... they are good but not that constantly... I consider good players the ones that ALWAYS play the best, but when a player has a couple of days of greatness and then a couple of YEARS of pathetic performance well, I call it overrated!!! and when you play good for your regular team but not as good in your national team, well... overrated again!!!!!!!

I don't think Beckham is overrated! Maybe I am being a little biased in some eyes, BUT..... The deal is.
Beckham knows what he is good at and what he isn't so good at. He doesn't possess awesome pace, so he doesn't bother trying to sprint down the wing. He doesn't have an abundance of tricks and skill, so he doesn't overelaborate on that. what he is great at is....Passing, teamwork, freekicks and other deadball situations, shooting, good technique, he's the hardest working player on a football pitch and has great vision and creativity. Also, he plays on the right hand side, and his role in the side is limited because of that. People would change their minds if he got a real chance to play in centre midfield on a permanent basis.

It's unfair to say Totti is overrated! No one expected thing to turn out this way. I think he had done his best in the WC, and what's more...all the referee fault. The most overrated players should be Rio, beckham, Rivaldo and Ronaldo.
