So now, when people say "damn, you're ruggedly handsome", I just make myself believe they're complementing my Marilyn vos Savant like intelligence.

That's some fucked up comparison.

And people have feelings which are hard to control. I believe it's a good thing when people try to avoid hurting one's feelings.

It's easy to just say don't let it hurt him, but apparently it does. You think he choose to feel hurt by it? I don't think so.

Kuja, 1 out of every 6 people has a disability. That's over 1 billion people that can possibly be offended by terms such a "******ed, dumb, slow, arabic...etc." That's a lot.

9 million people in the USA alone, are gay, bi or transgendered etc.

There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of words that can be deemed as offensive to someone, somewhere.

You obviously are offended by the term "******", as you've stated. But there is a reason you are only offended by this word (likely a traumatic event in your life). But this is neither here nor there....

The fact that you isolate a single word, in a cornucopia of offensive terms, as the one that offends you, proposes that you have lessened the meaning of other insults which mean the same or worse.

The point is, you can't simply say I'm offended by "******" but not "queer". Well, you can, but your being hypocritical and purely subjective in your choice of terminology that you find offensive. Lessening the effect the term "queer, or poop-pusher" could have on other members of the GLBT community.

Either hate all the words, or none at all. Be strong man, people try to insult because they can't fight with intelligence.

ETA: There are likely many members of this forum who are a minority of some sort. If you're easily offended, the internet is NOT a safe place to be lurking. Especially on a forum which seems to only police those who are "uncool" and don't drop :o :o :o 's at the end of every statement.

Keep it real dude, I like you

The thread is hitting an all time low.

Can we cut this crap and continue talking about the King of Kings, the warlord, sweet guy, the intelligent maestro, the deliverer of dreams, the best player in the world Zlatan Ibrahimovic?

The arabic part is a joke, Fredrik. Used to illustrate a point.

Get off your holier than thou pedestal, you're at the top of the list of "offensive" posters.

Yes, disabled people have a right to be angry.

I'm offended by other words, they just either don't come up due to their irrelevance in the vernacular or they're words which aren't as offensive, like gay and queer.

Haven't lessened the meanings. If people used other words which were as offensive I'd complain about those too. Why would I complain about fudge packer or something when nobody has used it? For instance, with Pakistanis. They'd find 'Paki' as offensive as 'Sand-******' yet nobody says the latter. However, they wouldn't find another common yet tame word as offensive.

Hypocritical? Not really. Subjective? Sure, but only because I'm the only openly gay guy here(apart from Corzioli). I don't find Queer as offensive as ******; Queer is also not as commonly used, and it's partly been reclaimed by the gay community. I have an aversion to certain ones much like anyone else. However, I'm not devaluing the validity of the others, merely not accentuating their effect or usage.

Nobody else, who I know of, is LGBT here. Well apart from Corzioli. If other words are used for the same effect, I complain. Sod-Lod called Cronaldo a *** and a fairy/pansy before and I complained. If someone just says "That game is gay" then I would hold back on complaining as I'd look like a wet blanket. If someone, though, goes "B&G are such poop-pushing ****** bitches" then I'd complain. See the difference?

People get offended. Sage, someone who claims he never gets offended, had a hissy fit when we joked about the ruling family of UAE. Nobody is safe. Fredrik gets stressy when we touch a nerve with Zlatan or expose his hypocrisy with matriarchal figures. I'm not claiming the internet is, or should be a utopia. I just feel we should extinguish the use of insulting Homophobia here for the better.

I think I've seen him use the super-controversial f-word a couple times.

Corzioli:

Pato!!!!!! Totally fooled De Sanctis like he was going to pass, ha....hope Leobitcho's watching, ******..

some fucking ****** (forgotten his name) billed to replace him.......

the bastard ****** is with those fools so maybe you guys can give them an anal drilling

once or twice.... but who's counting?
But at least he's drained the derogatory meaning from the word. If he is in fact gay, then props to him. he's turned a word with "severely negative connotations" and used it as an everyday descriptor.
This is what I was trying to point out to Kuja.

Anyways, there it is.

Nocerino looks so cuddly. :)
He's adorable when he's smiling so wide his eyes are squinting

So do you think we'll see some magic from "the odd couple" tomorrow? They came closest last match are our top strikers. :D

Milannews had an article with these numbers:

Zlatan scored in 12 league matches of 18 total = 67%

C.Ronaldo scored in 12 league matches of 20 total = 60%

Messi scored in 11 league matches of 20 total = 55%

So he's performing more consistently than other players who their teams "depend" on them.

But even if he avoids injury we can't expect him to keep his form throughout the whole season, especially if he isn't rested when possible, so we need Robinho and Pato to get their form back or Maxi to adapt fast, and most of all to play some creative midfielder against teams that park the bus.

Yup. In all competition Ibra scored in 75% of Milan's matches. Ronaldo about 58% and Messi in about 55%.

Milan will have it hard without Cassano, Boateng and Aqualiani. Those injuries really hurt the brand of football you showcased at the beginning of the season. :D Especially Cassano. With those 3 + Ibra and Robinho there's some quality to pick out a teammate with a pass. Without it's basically Ibra and the rare pass from Robinho, Emanuelsson, Shaarawy. I think Milan will struggle against any good side if Ibra isn't there or if he has a subpar match/doesn't score. The rest of your attackers are too inconsistent at this point.

Maybe Maxi Lopez can carry some of the goalscoring burden for him, but I doubt it. As such it will probably be Juve for the scudetto this season

Marco Reus 8.24
Zlatan Ibrahimovic 8.2

what blasphemy is this??????

After todays matches it's actually Ronaldo 8.24, Ibra 8.2 and Reus 8.1. Don't sleep on Reus yo. He's been awesome this season. Defnitly deserves his high rating. He's quite inconsistent, which is normal for youths, but when his game is on there aren't many better.

Yet we destroyed Lazio in the first half in Coppa and played beautiful football without Ibra.:o

7.3 - Ibrahimovic has made an average of 7.3 touches per game in the opposition box this season, more than any other Serie A player. Threat

So?

Corzioli, a gay person, calling someone else a ****** is not the same as a gay person being called a ******. Black people call anyone else a ***** and it's fine, you say it to them and it's likely they'll be offended.

I'm not saying that ****** offends every single gay person, however, it offends most and I feel the use of it should be cracked down upon. Not every black guy is offended by *****, however, a large proportion are.

kuja, u need to calm the fuck down.

when I said phaggots, I was talking about all the ibra haters, wasn't emphasizing it on you.

and I never threw a hissy fit when people mocked the 3 guys on the board, I just demanded that people show some respect, while you tried to get me pissed off when I praised zlatan over the team  (pathetic from you tbh)

me being angry would result in a ban, 100% sure of that.
