I get that hamren wants to use ibra in mf with runners for him to pick out with his great passing abilities but... This only works when sweden has alot of possesion. Cant believe ibra wasent ordered to play as forward / target when we were struggeling so hard to even get out of our own half. Was waisted in mf tonight and every single time he was close to the box we looked so much more dangerous and created alot better chances.

Im suprised noone yet mentioned grankvist. He was (is?) linked to milan lol. What a horrible performance.

Swedens defence sucks beyonds words. Even Mellberg made silly misstakes and hes usually a rock.

All we have to do now is beat England and France and we are through lol :)
I guess in theory we can beat England and draw France and still go thought but omfg what a horrible display. It actually reminded me of Milan vs Arsenal in the away game where all of a sudden 11 players forgot they know how to play football because of nerves. FOOOOOOOOOOOOOK

Sheva showed Ibra who's boss .... Ibra = overrated

Well, Ibra was the best player on the pitch.

If you put Shev in the swedish team, Shev wouldn't score 2 goals...

Seriously, this is FOOTBALL, a teamsport, NOT boxing. God damn 32 IQ people. :fp::fp::fp::fp:

Dont you worry, he will soon leave Milan, same as Silva.

Ibra was the best player tonight, sadly his teammates was utter shitt:cool:

Sheva was able to score to goals, just because our defence was shitt.
but i know that is beyound your knowledge, did you even se the game? I doubt you did.

I always thought Sweden had a shaky defense under Hamrén, I remember reading that before the match against Holland that Sweden won Mellberg had called for a different defensive strategy so they changed it. But it seems that was temporary as just a couple of days ago, after conceding similar goals in the friendlies they said they hadn't started working on defending dead ball situations yet. :fp:

Sweden really should have an assistant coach to help out, Hamrén's doesn't have an assistant coach he just has a retired player without any coaching experience as a "players manager". As far as I can understand he assists Hamrén in decisions on the bench and fixes the hotel and picked the suits and those sort of things, I don't think that's enough experience when the Hamrén himself has never coached any international tournament.

Oh come on man. Ibra was good, but Sheva had a better game. Of course that doesn't mean Sheva is a better player now ... just that Sheva, with the system Ukraine deployed, was better than Zlatan in the system deployed by Sweden :fp:

I saw that game live, i couldent really tell any difference in defence from how we played before or after tbh. Then again maybe im not trained enough to pick up on these kind of things. That game was alot about heart and the fact Holland was allrdy through. Tonight we showed fear and very little heart :/

Yeah Allbäck is something like a players manager from what i understood too. He cant have made a very good job tonight considering we looked scared shitless.. I really dont have any clue as to how and what hamren does tactically but i kinda get the feeling matchcoaching isent his strong point..

Tbh i have praised Hamren before since he has produces a more attractive NT at times but tonight i cant help to think he fielded the wrong team and dident have any ideas on how to improve our game after realizing our plan wasent working. We looked like the worst team by far so far in EC imo and i saw every game and prolly am partial to sweden aswell. Cant help to think that Lagerbäck would have come alot more prepared and with a more sound tactic. Guess i cant have the cake and eat it too tho :/

I know u know one thing, when Silva and King Ibra are gone, then no CL play next year, no scudettos, you will be the first to beg on oyur knes that he will be back:cool:

Dont worry, Inzagi and Slowdorf will stay 5 more years, so that berlu can have som bossman players coming in.

Agree, sadly it seams that Hamrin are not able to coach the team, and worse we are outplayed from minut one, with a no midfield at all, but what is Erik doing? nothing, he sits the whole 1 period just watching us become humilated as i have never seen before.

He should have put in Svensson and Chippen already after 20 minutes in the first period, they both have experience and woul have regain trust in the other players, but again Hamrin did notnig:eek:

We got one goal because of Ibra, without him:fp:

Hopefully in the next game he will coach us better or we are out as the worst team ever in EM.

but this is not Ibras fault, even i know the haters like it that way.

Kinda of good to be back. It has been a little over a month since I was here and lo and behold that bitch freddie is banned. I finally managed to talk some sense to the mods of this site.

The loss serves him right. Ibra was bitching about Sweden not making it to the WC 2010 in South Africa and left the team. He joined them once again and was putting this facade of taking pride and honor in being "Swedish" and captain of the national team. In the end, his team and himself choked once again (only good BIG GAME he had with Sweden was his backheel flick against Italy in 2004). France and England will neutralize him once more it seems. Goodbye Ibra. I am already thinking if he will partake to qualify Sweden to the 2014 WC in Brazil. He will be 32 that summer.

Sweden without Ibra will be nothing. Similarly, Ibra with Sweden will be nothing either.

Ibrahimovic would have done much better with the Bosnian team. He should have taken "pride" in his roots. That Bosnian team with Ibra would have been much deadlier than his current Swedish squad.

I think the thing that really killed Sweden was not having Elmander from the start of the match. I know he's still recovering from his broken foot but Sweden seem to get a bit livelier once Zlatan had a more decent target man to send balls to. Rosenberg hasn't played in major tournament since 2007 and there were times where he looked a bit unsure. Toivonen looked sluggish. Once Svensson and Wilhelmsson were subbed in, it might have been too little too late.

The defense was one of the other things I was really concerned about and today it was apparent. Mellberg's playing in his final international tournament. Granqvist, Lustig and Olsson are still untested at this point. Same goes for the rest of the defenders that Hamrén called up. Had Majstorovic not picked up that unfortunate knee injury, I wouldn't be as worried about the defense.
