Jesus, WE CAN'T BRING HERE M'BIWA IN JANUARY.
We will be only free to talk with him and even if we agree with him in January he will be free to join Milan next summer.

do you want to pay 25 mill for a player out of contract in 1 year

Its not a matter of 25 millions no one expects to sell a player with one year contract for 25m not even Arsenal for Van Persie its a matter of attitude !
If you make an offer to Montpelier and say 6 Million Non Negotiable and impose a time limit thats bullying and stupid way of doing things!

I honestly cannot see anything funny in this situation as we need that defender and we lack seriousness as a club dealing with this and Montpelier will refuse 6m cuz its not that much money for a club just like Fiorentina rejected us for Montolivo and we'd have a much better squad if we had Monto last season so its our loss and this also its gonna be our loss! I truly admire the Montpelier President and also Della Valle for not giving in to our Bullying Style Negotiations!

We did make an offer close to 5mln I believe for Montolivo...that was a fair price for someone in the last 6months of his contract....they refused to sell,so Galliani picked him up for free...
Same goes for Mbiwa,Galliani is making an offer...The prices around are extremely inflated...Just cuz chelsea paid 30mln for a kid and Inter or Manutd willing to pay such fee doesn mean we gota also pay huge prices...Wat galliani is doing is part of the negotiations...Its all mind games...I am sure we'll be linked with a few more defenders just to make us not look so desperate in the eyes of montpellier..

montpellier want 25 to 30 mill for mbiwa they think we are rich because of thiago transfert
http://www.transfermarketweb.com/?action=read&idsel=105892

Don't be ridiculous , the president is a character he's like a cartoon and is playing hardball , if we offered €8-€9 million then he'd be here.We risk having a leaky defence and finishing outside CL which is worse.

I find all this talk about Acerbi very hasty and even unfair...

The 23 year old has only been with us for a month and what you expect him to be a master of his trade?!?!?!?

As I remember Thiago didnt come to us as the same player that left this summer...it took him time and training with professionals like Nesta and Maldini to then become a great centre back two years later....

Yes Acerbi hasnt got Nesta/Maldini etc to teach him the art of defending like a boss, but the likes of Yepes/Bonera/Tassoti can do just as good as a job.

Give this boy a few months to get his fitness/speed/ball control up to scratch before you judge him! From what I have seen his tackles, interceptions, headering and strength seem to be quite impressive.

Lets not jump the gun, this is a good player....he just needs the right time and direction to be a great one.
I said I have reservations which I do , he is slow he is awkward on the ball and his positioning hasn't been great. So I find talk of him turning into great player also a bit hasty. In all the games I have seen him play he has looked nervous which can be put down to him being new , but his pace and decision making is very poor do far .Will he get better I hope so , I don't want him to fail but after 17 games for Chievo he has been talked up a bit.

And De Laurentis said €60 million for Lavezzi , he would want €100 million for Cavani , Silva was unsellable..Same president wanted €40 million for Giroud .
You are not stupid and know that he will not get €25-30 million for him , the name is border line insane just like Zamparini , so post whatever he says.
Point is we need a good CB he is that but want to play bully boy tactics , he is good will get better but surprise surprise we offer under what the want.

Because Milan offered €6 million and won't pay 2 cent over that let alone 2 million , we know how they do things cheaply , which is fine but sometimes it won't work like now and the risk of a few million is worth it .We will leak goal after goal after goal with the defence we have , Yanga isn't a world beater yet and no Silva or prime Nesta but he's better than what we have...they asked Liverpool to release Aquilani for gods sake .

Yes I agree , but for the €8 maybe €9 million they'll sell I reckon.The €25 or €30 is ridiculous.
As I said these cheap deals for good players or free are great I'm for it , but we are in dire need of some quality at CB and we need it now not June 2013.
And there is the risk that if he continued on the right path and with UCL exposure bigger clubs (on the competing front nowadays) will want a quality young yet to realise his full potential CB , and he may choose elsewhere , we have a chance to get a good player who will get better for a nice price .

Adriano Galliani warns “Montpellier turned down our offer and we cannot reach an agreement” for Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, so Milan are looking elsewhere.

The French defender had been the prime target to strengthen the back four after Alessandro Nesta and Thiago Motta left this summer.

“Montpellier turned down our offer and we cannot reach an agreement for buying the player,” said Vice-President Galliani.

“Therefore, the case is closed, with no regrets or bitterness. We have already identified other targets, but I won’t tell you who they are even under torture!”
It might only be over for the moment, because Yanga-Mbiwa’s contract with Montpellier expires in June 2013.

The Rossoneri hope to go under the radar in their next move, after Yanga-Mbiwa was splashed all over the newspapers, much to the irritation of Montpellier.

Potential targets include Genoa’s Andreas Granqvist and Chievo’s Marco Andreolli.

Our budget is not even 20mln, its +46mln, as we sold for 66!

This Milan needs 5 players: CB, LB, CM, Kaka' and a CF. Without this we dont have to play this year.

Anyway Milan has no future untill Silvio sells or someone invests into the club. Putin is just fine by me :D

EDIT:
Latest news are saying Sahin will leave Madrid. DO THIS! He never played at 100% at Madrid. Brin him and Ricky in here and our midfield is more then fine: Monto, Sahin, Noce, Flamini, Ambro, Boateng, Kaka' etc.

I do not agree at all! Even if Gazprom (or someone else) enter in Milan that is not gonna happen overnight! You can't except to have a fresh cash immediately. We have only 25 days until the end of the mercato. If this was June then ok, now it's to late for this summer! And next year FFP wil come in so we can only have cash for renovating San Siro...
Stop expecting fresh money for 25 days. That doesn't work like that!

If our budget is 20M we can only hope that some players will come on loan... If I understand this mercato, judging by rumours, we want Kaka on loan with obligation to buy, Tevez on loan with obligation to buy in couple installments, some cheap defender for 6-8M and the rest for CM...

Mmmm no.
It wont happen overnight, but it can for 25 days. Gazprom or other investor, it can be done, but we know it wont.
Also stadium expenses are not taken in account towards ffp, as far as i know.
