Boa is injury-prone
Ambro can't play for 90minutes and more than once a week
Muntari is out 'till 2013

+ We don't have any decent subs for that Midfield, ATM our midfield is good for Serie A, but we're going to get r4p3d in Europe and against Napoli, Inter, Juve and maybe Roma...

True

I think attack is more urgent atm

Out for a walk.
Prince will come to form soon enough, the problem is who will be next to him ? Our current mid needs at least 1 quality signing...

the 3 man-mf atm is: Noce-Ambro-Monty and Ambro can't play for 90 minutes

the alternative would be something like: Flamini/Constant-Monty-Noce

AM is KPB, who we hope won't get injured. (not really a AM since he doesn't have much vision, more like a b2b SS)

The DEF is unstable:
  1. Antonini--Mexes--Zapata--Abate is our best combo ATM
  2. Antonini--Zapata-Bonera--Abate in case Mexes leaves
  3. Constant--Acerbi--Bonera--De Sciglio are possibilities

The ATT is pretty good at first sight, but we have only 1 CF: Pato and 3 SSs: Cassano, Robinho and SES92

IMO, if G wants Milan to have a decent season he should buy (with PSG or Berlusconi money, I don't really care as long as he spends some):
  • A Midfielder:
    1. DM - Ambro replacement, making Monty play RCM
    2. RCM - to play next to Noce (lcm) and Monty (dm)
    3. AM - making KPB play in the 3-men-midfield, probably RCM with Noce and Monty next to him
  • A Defender:
    1. LB - we need a solid LB now more than ever, our CBs are no longer WC and we need a LB that can play his role properly
    2. CB - in case Mexes leaves, maybe Yanga Mi'Biwa, I honestly hope he'll come during the winter window
    A CF:
    1. From all the CFs we've been linked with I prefeer Pazzini, with Pato's world-wide known injury-proneness and we can't just hope he'll stay healthy all season, we need a solid back-up, a potential starter.

I agree completely.

Meeting minutes:

The ol' boateng is good, no!: overrated, no! cocky no! injury prone argument. Tell ya guys. That them theres a hot dog of a debate.

which forward/striker we should get and why.

lastly we are seeing a warm front coming up from the southeast which may bring some dildo posts.

and that's how ball bounced today folks.

Are you seriously puttting a ? for montolivo. How can you be that ******ed to put Traore and Nocerino in the lineup before montolivo. He is literally twice a good as either of them. Might not score as many goals as Nocerino but is better in every other fascet of the game, and im not going even going to waste my time comparing him to montolivo. Give a man props when he deserves it. I promise half this forum are idiots.

He is injured you numskill i said first round. Montolivo is a great player; get the chip off your shoulder my friend.

Great, Inter dealing with an offer for Fernando (Porto)

O Polvo ?

We were linked with him earlier this transfer window, some newspapers were saying we make an offer for both him and Rolando...that was right after we sold Silva if I remember correctly...

Yeah, but now even his agent said Inter are very interested in him and Fernando was quoted he wouldn't mind playing in Italy

how is he 'overrated'.

He's got limitations sure. He lives off his physical tools, sure.

But he's a match winner, was pretty consistent. And so what if it's physical over skill. It still works.

It's bartha logic to say he's overrated because he doesn't play like a 50kg girl ala barca.

People always hate on 'different' approach, but he's successful at his.

+ basically his improvement, he shows yearly incourages me

you are super critical of Pato, but how is Prince that different? Injury prone, generally plays well when healthy, and acts entitled.

You talk about Pato being too into partying... Prince is exactly the same with that, plus he acts like he is already a superstar, which is not accurate.

I have a feeling Prince might struggle with no Ibra

Pazzini would be a good pickup, he is a quality backup CF that would fill in well if Pato gets hurt

prince has fantastic technique...great touch...great passing range..ever improving.

of course because he's not match-fit in july/august yadayadayadayada

wonder what ppl will say when he wins serie a foreigner of the year

prince great passing???? hehee:lol::lol::lol::lol::fp::fp::fp::fp: you love him so much!!!!boateng's passing skill is very weak. He succeded at Milan only because Allegri limited his weak aspect when Allegri allowed him play as "false" no 9, in this position, boateng is perfect, he is exposive and make him more dangerous when he close the goal

yeah! i think so. Pazzini is more clinical than Borriello!! Borriello is fodder!!!

when I see 'fodder' it reminds me of the prince's bride (movie) where the short bald guy always said "inconceivable!" and inigo Montoya said: "I do not think it means what he thinks it means"

FYI: Waikiki beach in the afternoon is not fodder

hmmmmm. I don't think he's a "GREAT" passer, but he's not some sort of simplejack w/ no idea how to use the ball.

Boateng, best long ball player on milan behind thiago- FACT (small amount attempted 50/57.... 87.8%)

Boateng, completes 85.4% of his passes IN THE MOST DANGEROUS PART OF THE PITCH.

People confuse vision and passing. Boateng makes quick decisions and moves ball to the true creators. Just cause he plays 'in the hole' doesn't mean he has to be our creator.

He's a physical force, but he's not a dumb player, he played within himself last year, quick touches, got it to ibra, robinho or cassano and kept moving.

Respectable

I like him in the hole, but basically, we need to add another creative mid... be it a regista or a mezzala or winger. I don't care. Boateng starts regardless.

Like if we did get Herrnanes for ex. he'd surely play LCM or RCM, monty at anchor and another CM. Boateng infront. Very good balance IMO

i disagree with you my friend!

the facts agree with you.

people underrate a guy who plays within himself. Boateng aint rui costa. He doesn't try to be though. And that's good. He's learning what he can and can't do. He plays HIS game, which is <Congo>so futuristic</congo>

BTW, he improved.... 2010/11-
completed 81.2% of passes
46/61 on long balls (75%)

His decision making improved greatly IMO which explains that

If I'm honest, I actually was one of those peopel that didn't think of Boateng as even a decent passer, its partly cause his vision isn't the best and partly based on a pure stereotype, he doesn't look like the type that is a good passer, he looks like what you think Gattuso is (and Gattuso ended up becoming a decent passer, he also lived off a bad stereotype from his early Milan days), but if you actually pay attention you'll notice he is capable of being a good passer.

I feel many here like me have gone with the stereotype when analyzing him.
