It seems like he's lifting to try to get more yolked than for endurance.
He probably never stretches after the 400lb leg presses either :o

Dont ever become a parent. I could totally see you being a football coach, your son goes down, with a broken leg, and you say something like: "Are you pussy? Stand up! Only losers whine!"

Couldn't be more right. Senator is indeed a senator.

That is a monster IF because Pato is always hurt. That is not an exaggeration or anything. He is a guarantee out for half of the season.

Super talented, but it's all a tease. B & G should cash in on Pato before his value gets too low.

Just call him Mr. Glass

I agree. I mean, it's just speculation, but looking at how his upper body has grown... those muscles are more for the beach than the pitch.

yes.

it's called BEING A MAN.

Fall 7 times. GET UP EIGHT. If it isn't broken. If their isn't blood. You're not injured.

Big difference between being 'hurt' and being 'injured'. You play hurt. Zlatan/Ronaldo/Messi all on record for playing with bruises/knocks all the time.

The biggest problem with this kid is he expects things to be given to him. He doesn't know how to work. He doesn't know how to overcome. He needs to grow up. He needs to get mad. He needs to want to prove people wrong.

I'm 1000000% serious on this by the way. Anyone who disagrees with me, is not an athlete, has never played athletics competitively. Lacks a real drive to.

I honestly think he lacks that mental drive to be great

I agree with this.

but you know waaaaaay to little about his injuries to make any accusations. you have nothing to back your statements with. comparing to other athletes is ridiculous. Most of the time... if you CAN'T play, then you CAN'T play.

I disagree. Pato has definitely had problems, but he has continued to train, and continued to try and play for milan.

If pato lacked the drive to succeed at milan, where he has the most critics and a point to prove, then he would have been gone. if pato had no drive or love playing for the team, the massive pay rise and freshstart would have been more than ideal. Wouldnt you agree?

But, he remains a milan player who wants to be the focal point of the team. And I respect that.

Nawh man if you have the mental power you will never have a singel injury. Its all in your head! Just repeat: "Im made of raw steel and cant get injured" and you will look at 20 year + career as pro a athele.

obviously true. I'm not a doctor.

It just drives me wild.... like that game last year, where he left pitch hurt. We're drawing/losing (can't remember) and he goes to VIP section at halftime and is playing with Robinho's kids.

Seriously? Could you EVER see Gattuso, Nesta, Pippo, Sheva, Kaka, Pirlo, Maldini (do i need to go on really?) doing that mid-match.

Go sit on sidelines and cheer your teammates. You show no respect, but it's not surprising cause he doesn't really care. He seems to love his lifestyle.

Pity really, i thought last year would motivate him. I want to believe in him, cause you can tell he's a 'good kid'. But that's just what he is... a child

-

I personally don't think he's injured half as much as he claims. He's just soft.

he was sold by galliani. Because of rec's by a lot of people. Coach. Directors. etc.

Ancelotti even told him 'you should be scoring more, but sometimes you just don't try' (something to that extent)

-

End of day. Silvio stopped it, because his daughter begged him.

-

I was hoping all that happened last year would mature him. I'm yet to see it.

Stop being an idiot on suppose. Or if you actually think that way and not just blatantly trolling read this and educate yourself:

any physical activity within 14 days of distraction is the best way to get hurt!
If you think that there are amateurs who competed with a distraction muscle in progress, you can understand how distractions muscle can last for months and result in permanent damage.
Typically, when the pain is replaced by a painful swelling of the extension, stage left again is a good point, but obviously has not healed!
Complications-If this sensation persists, probably the distraction has evolved into fibrosis that need to be treated as soon as possible, to note that the processes and fibrotic scars are visible on the ultrasound as hyperechoic areas, uneven, irregular contours. Fibrosis is certainly the most common complication (cysts, calcifications and myositis events are rare and usually due to a mistreatment) and the most severe cases are caused by:

failure to sleep in the first two weeks of the accident
not minimal blood transfer (you can see ultrasonography immediately after the accident)
therapies attack ineligible (eg massage in the early days).

Care
Period stop - can last from 2 to 4 weeks until it passes the test of the stairs (up and down the stairs without any discomfort).
The immediate response is the compression with ice and, in severe cases, limb elevation for the lowest possible blood transfer (which is equivalent to less inflammation and less fibrotic evolution). Then you have to apply the method Stop & Go: absolute rest possibly with a few days of NSAIDs if the path and normal activities are permitted in the absence of pain, you should avoid any form of physical activity maintenance (without the guidance of a trained therapist are the risk of damage than the possible benefits of a solicitation of regenerative phenomena). After the first week you can use forms of endogenous thermotherapy, the Tecartherapy is indicated, but it does not work miracles; ultrasounds are often overstated. After 7-10 days. you can use a very controlled stretching, massage and fibrolisi are not recommended.
Phase physiotherapy - Depending on the severity of distraction, from the third week you can enter exercises for regaining strength, contractility, and proprioceptive sensitivity. In the absence of pain you can not traumatic alternative to a sport (cycling, swimming).
Massages are indicated, but should only be performed by qualified personnel, in the absence of which you should not use them. In any case, should not cause pain.
Goal of therapy is to restore the muscle to its original condition and prevent relapse and fibrotic formations, the latter must be treated immediately, if possible, with fibrolisi. The fibrolisi should be made only after the structures are in place, only after the ultrasound control has verified the presence of a fibrotic scar.
Many studies (for example, the implantation of myoblasts transfected with recombinant adenovirus with the LacZ gene, by direct injection of adenovirus with the B-galactosidase gene) are underway to find a therapeutic solution in terms of time much more acceptable than those of currently available therapies (ranging from 30 days to less serious distractions to four months in cases of misappropriation of third degree), but currently an intelligent management of distraction is the only way to minimize its impact.

Not to mention your lame ''pussy' speech falls flat as soon as you consider its up to the medical team to evaluate and based upon scans give him the go ahead when a player is cleared to return back training.

And again they do that with scans. They dont ask him ''does your booboo still huuurty?? if yes no footy for uuuu''. The player himself has little say in this.

And yeah. Real TEAM players should try and play football with a broken foot......:lol::lol::fp:

Anyway milan should either sell him or deflate his hulk muscles. Turn him back to the skinny midget that never got injured or throw him leo's way.

he never broke anything. He never tore anything iirc (that might be wrong).

it's all 'pain' that no doctor can locate.

I dunno how this injury is. But the fact that a few months ago the doctor told the press he had no idea what was wrong with Pato after doing all sorts of tests on him...and everyone in here and in other places :fp'd: his comment...uhm, do you guys really believe a doctor will go out and say something like that, risking his credibility if it wasn't because he really found NOTHING wrong with him? It at least makes one question Pato.

I dunno if it's trauma from past injuries that now each time he feels a small pain he goes out scared, or if he's comfortable with his situation or if it's real.

Jeeezus it isn't that bad half these guys were going on like he was out for months. Pato will be back! I think this all may be just more time to get him to shed muscle weight and bring him back to his original level!

Then September the 17th onwards we unleash the old PATO! The one with the heart celebration!

Yuck. That's reserved for Zé Loooove eitherway, but yuck. The best thing Pato has ever done was drop that celebration.

And another thing, all these claims of "Hopefully the return of the old Pato", i don't get at all. He was never fantastic for us. Good yes, but not this amazing talent that some on here believe him to be. He was overhyped and overrated, and now he is an injury plagued footballer, who can't make any contribution- why is he still here?

If he cannot stay injury free and score 20 goals and play 30 games in all competitions for the first time in 6 seasons for us he should be sold ..

Waiting for him to become the next great thing looks impossible .. There's hope that he will turn into a fine world class striker still ..

But in his 6th year in Europe and turning 23 he's no longer a prospect and this is his time to deliver now ..
