I would be shocked if Milan spent less than 1M Euros at Giannino or whatever it is called last year.
I mean, you know a pretty average dinner with 4 or 5 guys + Galliani is coming in at 1,000/night. Galliani ate there over 600 times last year by my count.
Yup. What is the cost of having two private chefs on staff? 125,000? Maybe more, maybe less depending on their quality. Figure around 75,000 on ingredients, and we're looking at savings of a fuck load + time saved from doing business completely in house.
Loaning Casemiro with an option to buy
sounds realistic
I wonder how much discount we're gonna ask for him next summer
Plenty. Galliani doesn't even need an appointment to talk to Perez! Based on my limited working knowledge of him, he is worth a 6 M gamble. He is a slightly worse player than Poli, who was about 7 M, so the 1 M difference is directly related to quality.
From what I have seen, he is basically a faster and more disciplined version of Muntari with upside, and that's exactly what this club needs: upside.
You guys and your love affair with Cristante. Casemiro I think would be a pretty clear and immediate upgrade AND I don't think you have to choose one or the other.
If Cristante is being relied up on to start next season we are in deep shit.
The difference is floor vs. ceiling. Right now, Cristante's ceiling is significantly higher than Casemiro and almost every other young midfielder in the world, but his floor is also pretty low given his little game time and level.
