Sorry forgot we gave Empoli a 4-5m option for Saponara's whole card. After 7 goals/4 assists in 18 games he's easily worth double that

Still doubt we'll get more than 1.5m for Verdi's half. Either that or straight swap with Darmian

He's not a bad player, but we have too many wingers and attacking midfielders. Niang, Menez, Honda, Bonaventura, El Shaarawy, Suso for 2-3 spots with no mid-week games is very very crowded. Verdi will either be sold or given on loan.

The only possibility is playing a 4-4-1-1 or 4-4-2 and have Bonaventura/Suso in midfield or one from El Shaarawy/Niang/Menez/Honda as second striker ala Kaka, otherwise other players will need to be sold in addition to Verdi (Menez, Niang?), or sent on loan (Suso).

Relax, Galliani is playing hard to get but we all know that in the end he will be sold (he's asking for 2.5 million while Torino offers 1 mill.) I think at the end he might get included in the Maksimovic offer.

It's just that when you have money, you can afford to buy players even if you don't plan on keeping them, and loan players instead of selling them for chump change just in case they grow up and become decent.

There was a LOT of hype about him some years back. If we assume we won't use him I'd like to include him in a deal for either Rugani ( preferred) or Tonelli.

I'd personally keep both him and Suso during pre-season and let all of them compete with each other. Simone Verdi has played about 1500 minutes in the last season which is more than what Niang played here in his first season. To me, he seems a lot more aggressive than Suso but less technical.

Still a young homegrown player with experience in Serie A for 450k and cheap salary. Good deal
