The thing is a lot of these sugar daddies (and a lot of government institutions) have invested in these PE funds like GSR as LPs. So their money is involved indirectly.

I don't think the reports of the budget are accurate, there will be either transfer money or no transfer money. 15 mil is still considered a risk if the chinese want to play it safe.

remember that these guys are buying a huge club and they will want to win the fans over. many fans are skeptical over this move and i am talking about fans who buy tickets to watches the games. whoever is taking over has a plan A,B,C & D.

the media are just missing the point that the agreement that parties will sign will be final, not prelim. so from what we are gathering the first payment will be 200$ to eliminate debt and further 2 payment will be made on a predetermined dates.

so to get back to the mercato, i do not think the meeting between galliani and the group representative was about bacca sale plus 6.7 mil. it was based on a larger sum since the targets that galliani is chasing will add up to 75 mil (mussachio 25, pjaca 25, zilenski 18 and sosa 6-7) add to that whatever opportunity we get toward the end of august.

i still think the budget will be around 100 mil, yes it can take a form of expensive loan + an obligation to buy as the money is granted by the group representative and galliani is acting based on this.

No one knows the names yet they are trying to determine the amount these unidentified group members will have for the mercato. Di Stefano is really stretching it. I can see it being once they know they have control, then they will decide the transfer amount for the summer.

Di Stefano, Sky: Galatioto will return to Milan next week. There are 4-6 members to acquire Milan including Sonny Wu and Steven Zheng. The group will bring €400m for the market in 4 years, the first €100m will arrive after the closing (September). From €100m, they will put €15m for the market now. It will be €6.7m considering €9.6m paid for Lapadula and €1.3 received from Verdi.

There'd be no reason for G to be going on a chase in Zagreb and Ibiza negotiating with Dinamo (PJaca), Udinese (Zielinski), Villarreal (Musacchio), Barcelona (?) and Real Madrid (Kovacic?) if he only had a budget of 15m (this was only reported by Sky eh?).

Galliani's meetings had Gancikoff in attendance. It shows that the Chinese don't trust Galliani's competence to do deals the right way and they have a significant say. If Galliani flew to all these destinations then it was approved by our potentially new CEO who knows what funds available and when will they be available.

Probably doesn't fit into Montella's plans and I doubt he sticks around to ride the bench. And if the team is good would don't have to rely on his shirt sales to make money.

Its true it will be as you are saying.
Bona isnt a midfielder & the same goes for Kova so that leave Ziel as the only midfield material & he is young.
True it will be unbalanced but considering we have an idiot in charge then I wont mind it considering we will have two players that we could build on next season in Kova & Ziel.
Another two defensive/tempo setters/B2b to the above & thats our midfield.
