The fact is this... Neymar has a long way to go before he is at Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi's level. And he's not that young. And his prior season wasn't as great as the 14-15 and 15-16 seasons.

PSG took a huge gamble here. And the reality is this... Thiago Silva is not the same as he used to be and Marquinhos hasn't been that wonderful for them (at least not in the CL). PSG spends greatly in the attack but has neglected the defensive elements. If they didn't neglect this, they would have probably jumped in for Bonucci (good thing they didn't). Even their goalkeepers really aren't out of this world... Kevin Trapp... meh.
